1. Dan Radcliffe makes Harry tolerable for me. No, not just cos he's jailbait really spot on, but because, um, just because. Rock on, baby, with your punk, it-actually-takes-a-lot-of-gel-to-get-it-this-spikey hair!

2. ethrosdemon and I called the Rupert Grint hotness before CoS came out, but now? Whole new fucking level. Jailbait, kids! He's so fucking cute.

3. Alfonso Cuaron made the movies the way I'd always imagined them, fast-paced, seamless CGI and all. I can give him no higher praise.

4. Okay, Sirius and Remus was always canon, but now? Really fucking canon.

5. Ron with the rolled up sleeves during the Care of Magicial Creatures class made me have bad, bad thoughts.

6. Who knew Gary Oldman could pull it off? I so felt it. Of course, I also shrieked 'Bad Touch' when Sirius sat Harry down at the very end.

7. I tend to find Hermione bothersome if only for all the Mary-Sue madness, but she was quite tolerable this time. Or maybe I was just too busy looking at the jailbait to notice.

8. Draco so fancies Harry! Blowing Origami? Any other boy would've just tossed a spit ball at his head. Merlin in hell, I may have to write about it.

9. I actually shivered when Harry shouted Expecto Patronum. Both times. Damn.

10. There was not a ship you could have that this movie did not address: Draco/ Harry; Neville/Harry; Ron/Harry; Ron/Hermione; Sirius/Snape; Hagrid/Buckbeak. You name it, and it was there.

11. I love the Phelps twins so much. Fred and George are so honorary Slytherins.

12. Neville's gotten so tall! *pets*

13. Dude, the boys had a candy fight like girls have pillow fights. How fey!

14. Did I mention that I have mad love for Alfonso? If he makes five, six and seven, it might even out one and two.

15. Did I mention that I have to write some Harry/ Neville and some Harry/Draco?

I still haven't recovered from last night. So so so good! From the moment Harry turns around and leans back on one hip against the counter in the Dursley's, I was like 'OMG I AM THE BIGGEST PERV EVER'

I perved on Ron (so fucking cute!), I perved on Harry, and I perved on Hermione. I am hopeless. And clearly going to hell. I adored their threesome embrace on the cliff outside Hagrid's house when they thought Buckbeak was getting the axe. That was one of the most beautifully framed shots in the movie.

And, how can one not love the NOT PLATONIC AT ALL EVER NO WAY embrace between Sirius and Remus in the Shrieking Shack? Holy god, I thought they were going to kiss.

...jesus, I have to go see it again, and soon.

If by that you mean Gods among men, then holy hell yes. The talking in unison thing: hottest damn thing that came out of that movie.

Damn. Here I was hoping you would write some hardcore Harry/Ron angst here. The movie opened up so many opportunities for everything basically.

Apparently, Alfonso unknowingly foreshadowed two events that will happen in books 6 and 7 in the 3rd movie. The Harry/Hermione thing seems like a plausible one, but then all the Hermione/Ron hinting she's been doing would seem pointless.

Then there was the Lily/Remus part that made me squeal uncontrollable in the theater. That part sounded so slashy to me (is a die hard RL/SB fan). Here's hoping their relationship (old married couple, HELLOOO) is one *crosses fingers*

determined to tell everyone how f*ing cool Alfonso is. At the London premiere, he came out of the screen and was dashing around signing autographs, saying he had to do it fast because his baby was waiting in the car. So, somebody has already beat you there. :p

I rented Y Tu Mama Tambien (I rented it for the HOTTness that is Gael Garcia Bernal, the star of the new Pedro Almodovar movie Bad Education) and discovered after the fact that Alfonso wrote and directed it with his brother. If you're interested, Y Tu has behind the scenes stuff with Alfonso. He rocks. So hard.

I so agree. The directing was FANTASTIC. The whole movie was amazing. I'm cracking tomorrow and borrowing the first book. I need my Harry fix.

I didn't see the second movie (I will this weekend), so the change from what the cast looked like in the first movie and now was SUCH a difference. I'm only 19, but I still feel like a perv for checking them out. Draco, Harry and Hermione got really hot.

Because with that much hott? You'd just pass out eventually anyway.

I think *the* ship here was Harry/Hermione! They are so cute. Wow. I was really like "Ok, so if I remember that when Harry's being psycho, that's really him, and he becomes the Even-Worse-Than-Voldemort, and really he's not very Gryffindor at all, then this is the best movie ever made! Go crazy!Harry. Hate on, my brother!"

Daniel might be a wee bit too cute. I really had some issues with myself a couple of times. Tom is also shaping up quite well.

All the little things, like the coronas on the Lumos spell, the photography on the start title credit and the end credit, Buckbeak looked REAL! Just, bah.

ITA with everything you said, especially Dan Radcliffe's hotness and the extreme slashiness between Remus/Sirius.

It really sucks that Cuaron won't be directing the fourth, but at least it's not Chris Columbus. And he did say he was considering doing the fifth, sixth, or seventh movie. I'm hoping for D) All of the above ;)
