Man, you do this sort of character in pathetic desperate love so well~:) All the little moments and the understated ironic tone and the sheer -hole- where Peter should be-- they all work well. Just, the language you use here seems... like, personal. Like, I can really feel Harry through it. He's just so... messily, wetly falling apart and yet one remains sympathetic to him 'cause it's just kind of impossible to resent him-- just the way he clutches at straws and has no clue about anything really except the way he feels. Like a puppy :>

I was kinda down on Harry right after I saw Spiderman 2-- he seemed even more pathetic than Draco, and I just don't go that low, but. I love the idea that they did live together for a bit & then Peter left, and just how whatever Harry says seems to be at the wrong time or the wrong thing altogether-- especially considering what a puppy -Peter- is, heh.

I dunno if it's tragic so much as... kind of tragically adorable. This fic makes me think of... 'messy'. I dunno -what's- messy. Harry, probably. Which is really weird, but you're really good at that particular flavor of sweetly hopeless, I think. :D
