So, I was thinking today about slash in general and how easy we have it today (LJ, e-mail, Internet) compared to the old skool fandoms like Star Trek and Starsky & Hutch, which had to pimp their stuff in three feet of snow going uphill in both directions. They had it rough no doubt, but then I was thinking about the real back in the day slashers and how rough it must have been for them, because you know when Pride and Prejudice came out back in 1813 there had to be at least two women in the world who thought Darcy and Bingley were having at it in Netherfield. I mean c'mon look at the name of the house, Netherfield, people? More like Large Shack O'Love.

I am counting the days until I move back into my happy, shiny apartment with the free cable and finally get HBO and Showtime again. I missed all the good shit this summer.

Correction, you NEED to see this damn show. So you can coax Eric/Vince fic out of me at 1 a.m. And so we can yell ~~at Samaire for getting to kiss all the cute boys~~ at Vince and Eric to make out.
