I really like the idea of Pete/Chloe, actually. I can't tell if it's a side effect of my distate for Chlark, though.
It would be a lot easier for Pete to hate Clark if they weren’t *best* friends. If Clark hadn’t cried when he broke Pete’s Tonka truck when they were six; and Pete hadn’t tried to flush Clark’s Matchbox Camero down the toilet when they were eight.
I really like this part; lovely little details, and Clark and Pete little kids friendshipness. But also -- it always comes back to the cars, eh?
