Well now, this is quite an installment in your series. Neville's discomfort at his grandmother's sudden appearance and Theodore's growing dislike are easily believe able, cause your version of Emily Longbottom almost unsettles me. The mention about the vulture on her hat possibly being Regulus just adds to the feeling that this is one woman you dare nto trifle with, but the comment about Theodore's mother and the words she spoke upon her leaving makes me think that while she may not approve [which is a vast understatement, I'm sure] of Theodore's father, she approves of his mother, and may possibly hold judgement against Theodore for another time. I may be putting too much into this, but with such great cahracterizations, how could I not?

The book that Pansy threw at Draco had me giggle, and the use Theodore got out of it is wonderful. And I love all these little touches and passing mentions that are riddled within the story. The comment about Neville being thought to be a Squib. The fact that Theodore didn't know what was considered to be a date. All the little things that I would love to pick out, but haven't the time.

Neville’s eyes narrowed and Theodore’s cock twitched again. He had never seen Neville angry before -- apparently he found it rather erotic. All the same this sort of cowering before anyone would never do, tugging on Neville gently, Theodore urged him to sit up.

Brilliant, really. Especially with Theodore's reaction to Neville's cowering. Those two boys have become my favorite characters ever. This whole verse is wonderful, and some of the best damned writing I've read in quite some time.
