I don't think you're being over-analytical, of course that could just be because I'm over here wallowing in praise. It's hard to tell some one to stop when they're praising your characters, you know. I mean of course I could tell you to stop, but Slytherins are sadistic, not masochistic, well at least not on Mondays. Now Saturday mornings are another story altogether.
I think this is my incredibly verbose and rambling way of saying thank you for all your kind words. With the regards to the angst or lack thereof, I do think there is angst, but that it's not all about 'oh, you're my worst enemy ever/ oh i hate you so' that maybe most people don't think it's there. This sort of relationship doesn't sit very well with Theodore, it goes against everything he's ever been taught, but he has a mind of his own and he doesn't necessarily think his parents are infallible (ahem, Draco, ahem) -- so perhaps it just doesn't seem as angsty.
Also, you saw The Winter Guest, which just makes you so cool ;)
