A man who dresses as a bat? What a weirdo.
Wow.
I am in shock.
It turns out I've seen *two* brilliant films this year: Layer Cake... and Batman Begins.
I have been harping and nitpicking over this film since it went into production. Every step of the way I whinged and said it was going to tank. I freely admit to doubting everything -- except the producer, because Christopher Nolan did Memento -- and the cast. However, not only is this film not a tank, it is the most engaging film you're likely to see all year. You know you are hooked when [favouritest spoiler EVAH!] comes into a scene, and you're shocked because you forgot he was in the film.
I do not apologise to the Christian Bale lovers out there, cos he is still creepy to me, however, he did Bruce proud. That's some huge praise right there.
ethrosdemon is going to do her nut.
People, see this film. On as big a screen as possible.
And then see it again, I know I will.
adrasteia, you want to get on this train. I haven't been with a group so animated about a film, after the film, since Fight Club!
