ryan gosling... mmm

Have seen the Ryan Gosling kiss at MTV Movie Awards.* STOP.

Holy God. STOP.

Sweet Jesus on a crutch, hobbling along the Strand, trying to catch the last tube before midnight. STOP.

Yeah, it was that serious. STOP.

[insert whimpering here] Why is there no Ryan icon community? I need Ryan icons! [whimper]

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma has finally seen The Gay Tragedy of Anakin and Obi-Wan Revenge of the Sith. She's feeling the Hayden love. This is where I laugh. A lot.

Why is [livejournal.com profile] ethrosdemon not back yet. Hrumph. Whoever will whip me until I write Ewan/Viggo/Hayden/Ryan?

FYI: Have seen Mr and Mrs Smith. It was what I thought it would be -- very pretty. When Seth was rocking the Fight Club tee shirt, I made some weird 'eeeee! noise. Shoutie! Save your money for Batman Begins!

*For those who have not seen the ultimate in sexy hotness, [livejournal.com profile] theantimodel put up a copy here. Show the woman some love, people!

Yes, Ryan in action is a completely different animal, no? :) As for films, he's really only done a handful (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0331516/) so there's not too many to choose from. I know that a lot of people really loved The Notebook (the movie that won them that MTV Award). It's sort of an angst romance, and it was good, he was insanely hot, but I'm not too good with romances. I fell in love with him in a wee film called The Slaughter Rule, which is very understated. It was big at Sundance in 2002 I think. The role that brought him a lot of acclaim is The Believer. It's a very intense film, but very good. The United States of Leland was a good concept, but it was very just so-so. People also love Murder by Numbers because he's very predatorial and that's just fucking hot. Have at it!
