I was going to ask for an icon for this photo, because ~~Narcissa~~ Cate Blanchett is the most beautifullest woman in the world (except for Rosario Dawson), but instead I think I will just look at it every five seconds. In my quest to pretend that this day hasn't been happening since 4am I bring you a poll... I know you people love polls.

Heh. That was what I was about to say--I live alone. So drinking alone shouldn't be that big a deal. But after the billion and one lectures about alcoholism in school, I always feel slightly weird, even if I'm just having a glass of wine with dinner, if I'm home alone...

On the marriage front, I was very sad I didn't have a partner so I couldnt' up and fly to San Francisco to get married during that whole craze earlier. These days, I'm getting more and more excited that someday, if I get to get married, there'll be a place (even if it's Canada or Spain!) for me to do it...

As for Americans drinking before happy hour, clearly we are excluding New Orleans from this demographic, right?

I am currently happily married to 2 lovely women (lj user="starstillwonder"> and

winter_baby) and 3 gorgeous men who don't know about the marriage yet (Jude, Ewan, and Jonny Lee Miller). We have a harem, and the last time we took a census, approximately 86% of the attractive people we know were in it. We're working on that last 14% though! ;)

Personally, I never drink.

If WB doesn't manage to get Cate to play Narcissa, a pox on them I say. A pox!

I know. It's like they put big neon flashing signs in my brain that said "Alkie loser!" if you even considered having a glass of... whatever after a long day.

But, I got over it, yes, indeedy. And now when I have a glass of wine, or port, or scotch when I'm at home, alone, I only think ah... tasty. And: Relaxing!

Although, I can truly say that I've never sat alone and gotten drunk off my ass.

I chose Other: I'm in a long term relationship with my boy. He's my Primary.

I've got a few other relationships on the side, both boy and girl (ok, boy and girl together). We're poly, and happy, and it's not as stressful as it could be.

Of course, there's bumps in the road. At one point we had a third that was rapidly becoming a primary (for the boy) and that caused tension. But then she decided she couldn't deal, so that solved itself. Painful, but if it doesn't work for any one person, everybody has to stop.

I do spend an awful lot on condoms, though...

-Erhm. Let me preface this saying it's complicated. I am emotionally involved with about 3 men and a woman. Sexually, no, not by my own choosing, really, but that'd take about a third of a bottle of scotch and a soapbox to get an explination out of me on that one. I have the people these kids fuck coming after me, threatening bloody murder, so it's not as if it's a best friend kind of situation. And I can't really picture myself marring anyone, even for the taxbreaks, because polygamy's far too fun. (Ask me again when I'm 35)

-Maybe it's an Australian thing, but I've been told 12 noon, and you're good to go. I know it's a shocker to most of my buddies at Uni, when I crack out the beer at lunch-time, but they all think I'm an alchoholic anyway (which I'm not, thankyouverymuch). But yeah. Please. Drinking is drinking, and has absolutly nothing to do with decency in the slightest, so why bother playing by ridiculous sociatal rules?

As we say in the boonies: it's okay to drink so long as the sun's up over the yardarm. That saying would be so much more useful if I actually had a boat (er, ship?) to judge by.

Married, but not...well your "married" option did not fit! Woe! heee! I am nearly content. But much is to be desired.

Also, drinking = YAY! It is always Happy Hour SOMEWHERE. This is especially true on cruises, which we are going on tomorrow. For the Caribbean cruise, it is Happy Hour 24/7.
