Keep your racist bullshit out my fucking face.

I knew someone else's ignorant shit was going to set me off. I fucking knew it.

Let's all just put it out on the table.

Blaise Zabini is BLACK.

Black, people. That means, not blue or purple, not white, not green or yellow or in posession of fins, wings, webbed feet or any other descriptor, but BLACK. He's English, but you know, he's black. Not African American, just black. He can't actually be thought of as, I don't know, BRITISH! because he's black. It's nice to know that nothing's really changed. It's nice to know that when people see you they just see the color of your skin. It doesn't matter that it's your name. Clearly all races should be identifiable by name, because black people are all named Michael Jordan or Shaquille O'Neal or Craig David or Monifah or something.

Apparently, some people now believe that this is the end of the world, because heaven forbid a black person be hot. No, of course not.

There are no hot black people anywhere in the world. There's no Denzel Washington, Thandie Newton, Don Cheadle, Sophie Okenedo. There's no Angela Bassett, no Delroy Lindo, no Taye Diggs or Omar Epps or Mekhi Phifer. No Beyonce or Mos Def or Talib Kweli or Gabrielle Union or Boris Kudjoe or Nia Long.

No.

Obviously Blaise is now tainted because he's black. He can't be hot at all. And oh look, JKR made a joke with his mother about her being a black widow. It's all racially motivated though. I can see how Blaise must now be hideous and deformed. Heaven forbid Draco find him attractive. Heaven forbid that he actually have a brain because black people can't be talented except for in sports, and they can't be smart or make a honest living unless it's in music. I can see how Oprah and Nelson Mandela and Bill Cosby and every black MP or congressman is just affirmative action or a fluke.

And people say that racism is all gone.

Fuck that. And fuck you if this is your mindset.

I don't need your ignorant bullshit.

But don't worry. I'm not upset. I see how it is. It's always good to know where you stand. And no, this is not the part where everyone says 'I never thought that!' because if you did, ask your self would you even admit it?

variety and statistics

Hey
I just wanted to point out that being Black does not equate to having 'dark' skin. So it can't be defined as 'dark skinned people.' I know black people who are fairer than some white people, without being directly mixed with other races.

But MY POINT- Black people, from my experience, have the most variety as a racial group- in skin tone, hair types, facial features and body shapes. Because when we reproduce with other races the melanin and facial/body features remains pretty evident- so you can be very clearly Afro-Asian, Afro-Indian, Afro-Caucasian.

Basically this leads to such a variety in the Black population, that to dismiss the entire Black race is to reject this HUGE cross-section of people. I'm just saying that's a statistical improbability.

Maybe it's the number of black people you're around, but I come from an island of under a million, where it's 95% black, so I get to see the variety quite often. I mean I'm not attracted to all black people but in that range there's someone who catches my eye.

Ok- sorry, This whole thing was about statistical improbability given the variety, and at some point it got lost in rambling.
