Blaise all the time.

I didn't sleep. I'm very [insert adjective of choice here].

Is anyone else watching Rome? You guys see the slash, right? Titus/Lucius all the way, because Ray Stevenson is the man!

Is everyone else watching Prison Break? Can I just tell you upfront that I know the show has more holes than swiss cheese? I know it's not nearly as good as Oz, but Oz never made me this anxious. Okay, it did sometimes, but the unease I feel is going to give me a coronary. The fact that I've cast WM as Blaise has me entirely too invested, and as such any harm that befalls him makes me impossibly stressed.

You've got company. I turned it off halfway through last night, but vowed that I'd watch a bit everyweek just to get my WM fix, 'cause damn.

I'm going to reread certain sections of Trade just for the new mental image. If I disappear for a long period of time, you'll know my fate. :)

Dude, thanks to Potterdom I see slash EVERYWHERE!

I'm watching Rome. And yeah, gotta love the soldier slash. I've yet to be really engaged by the larger political drama, but when the plebians take the screen I really care. It's refreshing to see a show that's so determined to be non-Christian (because it has to be! No Christ in Caesar's time!).

Prison Break - I tried the premiere, but couldn't get into it. I was adding up all the shows I'll watch this season and I don't have time for another one anyway, so it's probably for the best.

Yeah, the Titus/Lucius couldn't be more obvious and still remain subtext. I also like the Caesar/Mark Antony vibes, though the politics doesn't really interest me at all.

I agree that Prison Break has a few big plot holes, but I'm loving it anyway. I love that they set up all those plot threads to make it look like Michael's cell mate was going to be very important in the escape, and then casually threw away the three episodes worth of character development and backstory when said cellmate made the correct (for him) decision. I like plot-twists that I would never have seen coming.

I haven't been watching Rome, but my best mate has. She's been having hysterics over it, in the same way she and I did when we saw King Arthur. Not surprising that there're slashy soldiers, is it?

Prison Break is amusing me immensely; nearly all the reviews I've seen say the same thing you have: plot holes so large, you could drive a truck through 'em, but the show is gripping (largely 'cos of WM) anyway. *shrug* I just know that I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

WM is possibly one of the prettiest beings in existence, ever, so, yeah, watching Prison Break. For him and for DP and for the hope of finding out why the brothers love one another so much. But I keep being *amused* by the show and I'm pretty sure that's wrong and I have screwed up values, but oh well.

I'm watching Prison Break. Wentworth Miller is gorgeous, and he's perfect as Blaise.

Speaking of Blaise, I went and left a comment in that girl's journal. She has since locked the post.

Yes, omg yes, and yes.

And HBO just might be ballsy enough to give us a little slash.... like, for real. considering how they've got one of their leads an unrepentant murder and rapist... but it fits for his time and culture. Why not a little guy/guy action.

Roooooome!

I want to pimp [livejournal.com profile] rome_fic to you, if only to encourage you to write. Because that would be awesome.

I wish I could watch Rome, but I foolishly opted for the Showtime package when I signed up for cable.

But Prison Break? Girl, I am SO THERE.

Titus/Lucius all the way

Oh, yes. And I'm enjoying Prison Break so far, but they do seem to be doing their best to ramp up the anxiety.

I completely missed the pilot and only caught the third (was it the third?) episode that was aired this week. My, my isn't Michael the prettiest little thing in prison? I'm quite sure when he figures out a way to get out of prison in five years, he'll publish a book detailing how exactly he didn't get sexually violated in the first few weeks of his prison stay by his friendly and welcoming prison mates.

Wentworth Miller as Blaise. That's certainly an interesting casting. My eyes are crummy because I never even noticed the man was part black. Oy, I feel stupid. Thank ye to those who compile biographies or I would never ever have known.
