Cedric Diggory is a Hufflepuff?! I thought he was a Ravenclaw! I can deal with Ravenclaws; I know plenty of them, but Hufflepuffs? That's like, like, [waves hands around inexplicably], people c'mon. I don't know how to write a Hufflepuff that's not a whinger like Ernie or some lascivious creature like pandarus' Justin. Where's the snark? Where's the eye-rolling and the double entendres? Nuts.

ETA: I have seen the light. I can do this. Theoretically. It's like D-I-Y Cedric!

That sort of Hufflepuff prejudice is RAMPANT, and it has to stop. Just because we aren't suck-up teacher's pets like Ravenclaw or devious so and so's like Slytherin or absolute thoughtless MORONS like Gryffindor- please.

We're the ones who don't fit. We're the unknown quantity.
