Blah blah blah... blah.

There's been some sort of friending frenzy recently; introduce yourselves. Why are you acting as though you have no manners? For shame! Did your Dark Lord teach you nothing?

1. [livejournal.com profile] dirty_diana wrote me Jake Gyllenhaal/ Jamie Bamber comment porn. In an airport! That's love. OMGWTFBBQ!!!!

2. Comment somewhere in this thread to harass Kassie for more Blaise. There's never enough Blaise in the world.

3. Smile of the day: Jake and Boo in the park

4. There's this Intel advert with Michael Owen that makes me clap like a three year-old when I see it. I heart Michael Owen. I remember when he was just this wee 17 y.o. playing for Liverpool and not the strapping young man he is now. Damn. His legs! *sigh* I heart football players.

5. I wrote Brad & George on Friday for the people who'd developed a 24 hour IhavetoseeGof sickness. *cough*

I have to go write some HP right now. NEV-VOLLLLLLLLLL!! *loves*

Story Recommendation: Grey's Apocalypse by [livejournal.com profile] mimesere. George/Alex. Wildly hysterical, and yet, touching. Just how I like 'em. It makes him feel better, a little bit, right up until Bailey gives him the look of George-you're-being-a-dumbass-and-don't-make-me-come-over-there-and-snatch-you-bald.

... which makes it difficult to say, "Hello."

Well. While my Dark Lord may have taught me little in terms of manners, he did teach me to read the small print, so if you find it annoying to be friended without notice, I'd suggest amending this item in your bio: 1. Friend me, don't friend me, whatever. You don't have to ask. This item should, perhaps, instruct that while one needn't ask to friend you, one must drop in and comment within x days of clicking the friends button.

I do, at least have an icon for this occasion! (Provided that LJ has stopped buggering up most of my icons.)

I'm here because I've been around a long time -- not so much under this name -- and have read your work here and there, if not your LJ, so when I asked my flatmate whom lapin_agile should friend, she included you in the list of recs gleaned from her friends list. More specificity than this -- or less opacity -- would defeat the purpose of having multiple, incompatible and necessarily, if uncomfortably separate LJs.

*smiles winningly at you in best Slytherin manner*

Yes, I suppose if I were the forthright sort that would be an extremely effective course of action, but like all good Slytherins, it's not in what I do say, but it what I don't say.

So, really that could read anything from your interpretations to Friend me, don't friend, whatever, I'll totally be doing a round-up eventually and branding everyone on their arses with barcodes, so that I can identify you, and it will hurt for a very long time and then you will always remember me. Isn't that nice?

But who wants all that information in one go?
