Poll! Poll!

[Poll #622931]

ETA: The sorting is for me!me!me! but if you click on the link you can run the poll she's doing in your LJ and get yourself sorted too. I was just curious myself. I mean I know where I go, but still...

*read the ETA* Well, duh. Slytherin. Why would anyone say any different?

Also, after staring lovingly at Julian there, I was thinking that I would *love* to read a little bit about him in school.

*has a long hard think*

God, what was Julian like in school? Not a bully, or a jock, I think there are two possibilities, one he was bullied unmercilessly at his boarding school in Ireland and he became a spy for hire, because then he'd get respect and he could put the bullies in their place. Not overtly popular. It's possible he was the class lothario, the one your mother say on Parents Day and said, "Stay away" -- but really he's too classy for that. He was the Mystery Boy I suspect. I don't know, I think I need to consult with Kassie, unless you have some ideas...

mystery boy?

first of all, Julian LIED about the Irish school thing, HELLO, he went to school in Scotland, omgwtf! You might have heard of it? Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry?

AND

Julian Slytherin Prefect and NOT having gone to school under the blanket of Harry Potter-inspired Slytherin loathing, he parlayed his school career into many many contacts that came to be useful in his later *cough* career. In his fifth year, they reinstated the Random Student Exchange from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, and he met several people who came to instrumental in his later meeting Irina.

He never *said* he went to school in Ireland, that's season one analysis by Marshall of his accent during the old skool days. I mean I know what *I* think -- I think Narcissa saw what Lucius did to Draco and said, "fuck that" and sent Julian off to be cared for by transfigured house elves.

[identity profile] ethrosdemon.livejournal.com 2005-11-30 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
Julian had to have gone to Hogwarts, Narcissa's too neurotic to have let him be anywhere else. Who knows what could have happened to him?

You're right, Marshall was just wrong. Maybe two of the Slytherins in Julian's year were Irish? AND maybe it was before Snape was head of house and the head was Irish? heehee. Julian could be a Ballycastle Bats fan.

Mystery Boy. The guy that sits in the back of the class, not paying attention, looking hot, saying nothing, and giving all the girls whiplash. The one who never cracks a book, but aces everything and gives the teachers fits. Enigma. I think it was his fourth year Science teacher who got him hooked on the Rambaldi business. It was his/her effort to get Julian to engage in his school work on some level.

Hmmm. That is interesting. But if he's a Malfoy, I don't think he'd put up with any of that for long. He'd at least come up with ways to get back at his tormentors in rather wicked ways. Everyone would eventually be terrified of him while the professors doted on such a sweet, innocent boy who, for some reason, has only, like, two friends.

I don't think he'd be quite as fucked up as Sark when he was a kid but at least have some of those same father issues.

OMG, I thought we *were* talking about Sark. Durrr. Okay, you mean Julian Sark Malfoy of the Malfoy Escorts Malfoys? Oh, he was quite the heartbreaker that one then. He, Draco and Blaise ran the school like a triad of pimps.

I'm with the program now, calm yourself.

[identity profile] amberlynne.livejournal.com 2005-11-30 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
Yes yes, the boy in your icon there.

But Sark Sark would also be very interesting, especially if you dropped him in to Hogwarts.

Okay, we are talking about the twins, Kassie's off talking about something else. Okay, so as I said earlier, yes, Julian was quite the little extortionist when he was in school. He didn't actually do the dirty work, he would just imply that he knew things that his victims had done, and they would be too freaked out not to do what he wanted. Draco tended to let Julian do a lot of that, but Draco was pretty good at tormenting too. They were both so cool that no one ever said no, and Blaise, well, Blaise was cool just by virtue of being himself. Blaise has always had groupies of one stripe or another. Between their fourth and sixth years, Blaise was too busy getting himself laid to do much apart from watch and laugh. Draco was busy playing football. He'd had hopes of playing professionally, but his mother was very much against that -- too dangerous, too common -- and then he blew out his knee, and there went that. The day that Draco blew out his knee, Julian had actually been hacking into the Scotland Yard database.

This is what you do, isn't it? It's evil and twisted, it is. Now I won't be able to stop thinking about the three of them and all the trouble they would cause looking all hot and, just, good god damn. Draco and Blaise with their Issues, Julian just rolling his eyes and practicing torture techniques the leave no marks while they bicker endlessly.
