You've got Gold

a) Much to my very own shock, I have not only started, but written, and finished, and had betad! my [livejournal.com profile] yuletide story. Circa 3000 words. There are no words for my excitement. I always end up flipping the fuck out two days beforehand, but not this year, bitches! Mwahahahahahahaha!

2. [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma has just informed me that Jamie Cullum will be on XPN today!

3. Brad is set to adopt Angelina's sprogs -- I don't even have the vocabulary, but Ari does and he says, "Let me get this right, this motherfucker could have half the female population spreading their legs, cooking five course meals barefoot and pregnant, and he wants to adopt some used kids instead? George, baby, you're better off without him. If you want, you can fuck me, and I'll give you one of my kids for free." Heh. We love Ari.

d) AND -- AND -- George is on the cover of The Advocate. I need to see this, please. Cover and article prayed for, but the cover is just fine. I need them for research. Really. ETA: Success!

e) The Day After Tomorrow was on last night and I had to watch a few moment for "research purposes" -- I am so good about researching for you lot -- and yeah, Austin was not hot in that film was he? That's okay, because, some people grow into their looks, like Patrick Dempsey, and then you see them later in life and you wet yourself. I wouldn't steer you lot wrong on this. Really.

6. [livejournal.com profile] shrift and [livejournal.com profile] nestra updated Polyamorous Recs. Yay!!

g) It depresses me greatly that Josh Holloway will not be playing Gambit in X3. I just wanted to put that out in the universe, cos I've seen some of the stills for the new film and I'm all YURGH!

That Clooney interview was absolutely fascinating. I did a paper on the McCarthy hearings once, and I knew that Cohn and Schine were connected, but never once did I read that their connection was anything but political.

Oh and I have a quick George story. I once visited The WB lot (during George's ER days) to see a taping of the Rosie O'Donell show and I happened to get lucky and catch him between takes, and he was awesome. Obviously tired, but charming and polite, with that sort of lazy grin that made me act goofy. I remember he was wearing a horribly faded black tee and old jeans and I was amazed because I thought he made more money than that.

Anyway I just thought I'd share. I hope that's not bad LJ ettiquette.

I love stories. They are always welcome here, never think otherwise. :)

Okay good. Unfortunately I don't think I have any others that measure up to this one, celeb wise.
