My head cold has progressed to that place where everything tastes like sandpaper, which, you know, not really what I'm looking for right now. Plus, I have to travel soon, so I plan to dope myself accordingly. Should be fun. Obviously in the whole holiday whirl, I'm a bit busy, but I wanted to drop links your way

green_queen decided that decking the halls with photos of boy!kissage was truly the way to ensure good karma for the next year. My immediate thought upon seeing some of these was "How did LOTR get made with all this macking going on?" ETA: The QaF section is NSFW or NWS or however the fuck that acronym goes!
b) My new favoritest rec com is![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
polyfandomrecs. Although not be confused with nestra and shrift's fabulous site, this community tends to focus on one fandom every entry, but with lots of quality recs (HP, dS, SGA, House + many more). And they update, like, twice a day!
c) I'm so proud of everyone who got theiryuletide stories done on time this year, especially the people who had to write their's under, ahem, trying circumstances. Gold stars for everyone!
d)ethrosdemon is running a DCU/Smallville challenge here, so, if that floats your boat, run on over and sign up. You get extra brownie points if you cast your story and can convince her to make your casting decision worthy of mass adoption.
e) Song of the day: Solomon Burke 'Don't Give up on Me' -- suitable for all shippers of all fandoms, but especially those in need of a little angsty help. I tend to think of Ennis/Jack, Draco/Blaise, Draco/Harry (?!), Neville/Harry, Lex/Clark amongst others...
In case I forget to tell you later Happy Christmas/Hanukah/Kwanzaa/Ramadan/Boxing Day/New Year!!
