Oh, well, that shit just blew -- but I'm better now.

Yesterday sucked some major ass. I think the words my friend used to describe this week were 'horrific' and 'scarring' and 'God didn't make a bottle of vodka big enough for this.' Okay, the latter might've been me. In an effort to promote happy-making, however, a few things:

a) I've posted Heroes fic twice this week -- L'Amour N'est Pas Tout, which is Peter/Nathan of the very NC-17 variety, and The Man Who Told Everything, which is Peter, Hiro and Nathan, and so general that your mom could read it.

b) [livejournal.com profile] svmadelyn is once again hosting the love-fest known as The Valentine's Day Game, which is about fifty kinds of awesomeness.. It's where you give lots of other people love and then sometimes they give you love too, and everybody is happy and gets warm fuzzies. *pause* Just read the flipping instructions and participate, okay? Do unto others and all that claptrap.

c) Some brilliant giving soul ([livejournal.com profile] ella_ventic) has taken it upon themselves to transcribe the cast commentary for Heroes, which I believe is a new thing, or may just have only recently come to my attention because of the fucking AWESOMEness of said commentary this week. If you've been in my LJ in the last two days I've tried to pimp it to you (I have no doubt) because when you have three men talking about BroYay and designer stubble you are SO doing something right.

Tim Kring? You and me, baby. I'm drawing sparkly hearts around your name right now.

ETA: There was something that really fucking bugged me about last night's Friday Night Lights.

WHERE THE FUCK IS LANDRY? IT'S BEEN TWO FUCKING WEEKS?!

I am displeased.

ALSO? MARRIAGE? Oh my god. Can we just get a stupidity intervention right now? Herc, I thought you were supposed to stop him! I adore Herc like mad every time he's on screen, because he truly is the fannish voice (Lyla? BOO!) How could you let this happen? Six, did you not hear ANYTHING Buddy said? I admit Buddy isn't really one to listen to, but shit, sometimes he makes some good points. Where the fuck you gonna live? HOW are you going to live? *stomps off in disgust*

What happened to the Ari Gold love? Ari feels ditched, in his words, 'for some fairy boys who can fly.' And he doesn't do abandonment well, or period.

I must catch up on your Heroes fics! I have been been all preoccupied, but I just got my brain back today, so I should be able to actually do things for fun.

First - Thanks a million to the commentary link. Will read ASAP - I can't *watch* it because the website discriminates against those of us outside US.

Second - Entourage began running on Finnish TV recently and I checked it out because I remembered it was a [livejournal.com profile] hackthis fandom. Dude, love. It's hilarious and has a lot of guys insulting each other and kickass cameos, and yes, Ari. I'm so very into it and probably wouldn't have checked it if it hadn't been for your constant pimping/mentions of it. So yeah, another thanks! :D

I loved the episode until that stupid fucking proposal. Why do teenagers in love in American television think it's a good idea to get married? IT'S ALWAYS A BAD IDEA.

ALWAYS.

It's not romantic, it's not smart and it's NOT COOL.

Twats. (I hope she says no.)

I'm pretty sure that the direct point of last nights episode was to be as upsetting and aggravating as possible so we could feel like the characters.

But the lack of Landry--we should check what was up with Jesse Plemons a couple of weeks ago. Maybe he got stranded on a desert island or something.

And yes. My love to Herc and Buddy for the sanity they brought to an otherwise insane (and not in the happy sparkly pen way) episode.

The nice thing about FNL, though, is that Jason and Lyla getting married is not going to make everything okay. There will be no denial on anyone's part--except for Lyla's and Jason's--that it's a really fucked up thing to do.

Huh. I'm not sure I've ever trusted the writers of a TV show this much before.

WHAT IS HE THINKING OH MY GOD. How, exactly, are they going to support each other, or keep the marriage going beyond the first day? And Herc, encouraging him! Shoulda taken the implicit advice: dump Lyla and go for Tyra. At least she'd nip marriage proposals in the bud.

Landry better be back soon; the whole odd-couple coolness quotient of the show is completely missing without him.

I do not even care about FNL if Landry is not on it. I mean, I still love it, but I'm not downloading it.

IF LANDRY IS IN NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE, PLEASE INFORM ME IMMEDIATELY.

Ahem. Thanks for the transcript-pimp.

Maybe there's a big Landry story coming up?! That'd be cool. In the meantime, I guess fic will have to account for him in the last couple of weeks. I'm actually guessing though, that his absense mainly has to do with the lack of Tim, and the relative sidelining of Matt, as they're the two he interacts with most. So we're getting the Smash and Tyra storylines now, but I'm positive we'll get some Landry soon. *nods in determined certainty*

I missed Landry too, but it was AWESOME to have a Herc around.

I know you have a lot of jeremy piven fans reading your lj - would you be able to plug Sony's poll on what tv series to release - one of the contenders is Cupid! People can vote here (http://www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/tvondvd/poll/)!
