Oh, well, if you're passing the crack pipe this way....

This morning I recieved an e-mail from [livejournal.com profile] heidi8 with a link from Greg Beeman's blog that contains the original Heroes pilot script. You know, the one where Nathan and Peter are twins.

I'll give you a moment.

Now, yes, I did write a little story about this idea, but my twins were identical (you can chose who you want them to look like) and they certainly weren't named Ethan and Harrison Campbell. I'll give you another moment to process this.

And. (Yes, there is an 'and' Virginia).

Truly, I didn't think the Petrellis/Campbells could be any gayer than what you have on TV, but reading the pilot and knowing now what I know and having written it already, I gotta say, "If they had made them twins, reality might have exploded." BroYay to the Twin-Factor would be a vortex of hotassery. I didn't think I would need to revisit the twin-verse. Now? I'm not so sure.

Petrellis for the win, y'all. Also, I hope everyone read Graphic Novel #28 from the NBC website too, because it has *looks around furtively* Baby!Nathan. Yeah. I know.

ETA: There are some really interesting changes from the pilot script to the pilot itself, FYI. For example: Zach used to be Zoe. *pauses* OMG! Harrison calls their mom a crack whore! And they had their own language! FTW!

Sorry, I had the wrong link up for the pilot, the right one is up now!

Jack Coleman and Adrian Pasdar, for sure. I can't speak for Milo, because my insane Peter/Milo love prevents me from being objective (although I do believe that he is underrated.)

But Leonard Roberts? Really?

I think Sendhil and Milo, rather than being really great actors per se, are just exactly right for their respective roles, in terms of atmosphere and screen presence, if you know what I mean. I just think they did an excellent job with casting overall.

I thin kit's interesting which episodes they chose for everyone. Obviously, Jack gets Company Man, and they obviously can't choose for Adrian, but Fallout for Milo? I would've thought they'd choose one of the ones with Chris Eccleston or Parasite. Hmmm.

I can understand Fallout, 'cause I think he rocked the scenes with Fake!Vision!Nathan/Sylar, and Claire, and Matt. But for Milo, I would say the standout episodes are:

Homecoming - when I first fell in love with Peter.
Unexpected - Flying! Woo hoo!
Five Years Gone - *points to icon*

Can I just say your icon really does sum up all of Five Years Gone nicely, except for the bit where I blew up a small country when they said Nathan was dead.

Hee hee. I love that icon. I also love this one. *points* I've been a Peter fangirl ever since Homecoming, and that episode was like my own special crack.

(I'm a huge fan of your fic, BTW. *g*)
