1. Right before a gig on Monday night I got a text that Blaise had been cast for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to which I replied, "Oh noes! They'll totally fuck it up." And then I got sent the photo of the actor and I replied, "Oh noes, they did fuck it up! He's totally too hot for movie-Draco. This is obviously why Blaise and Theodore are so MFEO."

2. In addition to my new found love Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, I am also loving American Gladiators, because Wolf is the man, and as antheia said Titan is totally the power bottom. I'm wondering where *that* RPF is. And yet, I am fucking thrilled that they are airing TWO new episodes of Chuck starting next week. It'll be the end of the season, but still.

3. Any news outlet that says the WGA strike isn't affecting TV is a fucking liar. Just saying. The Golden Globes are dust, the Grammys are on deck to be screwed and the Oscars are lookng iffy. No affect my ARSE!

4. I understand that people are excited about the new Torchwood, I am too, but guess what, not everybody has seen it? In fact, a lot of people haven't, so you know, not using your cut-tag for spoilers is just being an asshole.

5. antheia posted this photo in her LJ of part of the new Star Trak cast, to which I was like, wait, all that hotass is in the movie? Really? Where's the RPF? That's gonna be a HUGE fandom. Where's Zach and the new Kirk? So she linked me to this photo of Zach and Chris which spawned the following commentary:

antheia: I choose to believe that's exactly what it is. "Quick! Quick! Pretend we're not fucking!"

antheia: *nod* It's not like he has to worry about upholding any kind of great acting tradition with the part, either. So that must be a relief.

The midseason drama "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" had the strongest debut of any new series this season.

Ahahahahhaa. And this in no way proves that the viewers are latching on to anything new that comes across their screens right now. Not at all. Not even a little bit.

Seriously, the writer's strike is all *over* the TV schedule and a lot of shows have had to feel a narrative impact. I'm certainly being affected. I wonder what that reporter was smoking.

I discovered the Sarah Connor Chronicles last night and I am so in love. That scene where the spanish girl was standing dead in front of Cameron had me screaming "make my L-word dreams come true." And I love how kick ass and neurotic crazy Sarah is. The show is sooo good.

Plus I feel like his mother was the prototype he used to design Cameron. Whoever John is in the future, he is fantastic. But present day, whines every minute John gets on my nerves.

I had to explain the strike to me Mum when she rung up to ask what had happened to Bones. She thought they'd moved it to another time-slot without her realising.

I am appalled on your behalf that people are failing to cut-tag Torchwood spoilers. You'd think everyone would know better by this point!

And that Blaise is fine with me - I prefer my Theo to my Blaise anyway. But Blaise's casting further enfores my theory that all Slytherins should be hot.

On another note, Blaise AND Theo (and largely Draco) are pretty much exempt from the film canon for me anyway. They're canon based and fanon grown, and that's how I wanna keep them! *evil slashy grin*
