5) It's starting to occur to me that I may end writing what I understand is called Puditslash. However, when I think of this, to me, that entails Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert (!!!), Anderson Clooney, err, Cooper and possibly Lewis Black, because wow, do I love Lewis. Do I write puditslash already in Clooney 2008? I'd really like to see how other people tackle this or what they think. SO. Tell me your favorite puditslash story. I'm not looking for porn, but for characterization and whatnot. Hook me up!

6) Does anybody else watch Weeds? Does anybody write Weeds?! Plz to love Weeds too! HALP!

I am glad you brought up the subject of punditslash because I always get so confused between what is pundit slash and what is Colbert Report and Daily Show Slash, and what is Daily Show/Colbert Report RPS? Are they all the same? Are their distinctions? These are the things that don't keep up at night at all because I get really excited about asking these questions and then forget five minutes later, but I really do get confused at all the different categories.

I don't know, puddin'. I didn't know that Daily Show/Colbert Report wasn't punditslash, I thought it was. I figured by pundit they meant any sort of talking head programming, so it could be Anderson and Jon and Stephen, and, hell, Lou Dobbs if you want. Apparently Keith Olberman is big too, but I don't know anything about him really as his program doesn't interest me. I needs a Stephen icon.

But I think Daily Show/Colbert Report is Pundit Slash most of the time, just sometimes it isn't. It's all very confusing when all the focus should be on how ridiculously adorable they all are. And now I'm trying to get the video of Jon on Colbert Report last night and it is not working and is making me sad.

Your icon makes me really happy though as does your project if its what I think it is, and it will probably make me very happy even if it isn't what I think is is.

I saw it! With the videotape of Jon and Conan O'Brien and the acid washed jeans! They are so tres adorable, and yes, I think the project is what you think it is. It has a lot of people. This much directing is a bit difficult. When I first started writing I couldn't tackle dialogue, so everything was exposition and then I got into the dialogue, but I couldn't deal with more than two people and then it was three, the next thing I know there are, like, five people in a room and everybody's talking and I need fucking diagrams! Err, yeah.

I think my first taste of anything resembling punditslash was that original fic that scrunchy did for the 1000 Words contest you run. I just remember knowing exactly what she was talking about even though I'd never paid any attention to any of the people involved and thinking it was the most amazing story ever.

I was finally able to get the video to work and seriously, Jon and Stephen are so married that it's kind of ridiculous. Stephen even has his special super blinding grin that he only uses for Jon that makes my heart melt a little bit. And Jon gets so giddy whenever he's near Stephen. And then when you throw Anderson or George into the mix, it starts to get really, really off the charts adorable as they all turn into giggling 10 year-old-boys with crushes.
