If I was really pondering the idea of an AU where Jon, Stephen, Conan and Anderson were in a band, a la Franz Ferdinand, would anybody read that besides me? Do I care? Do I ever care?

i would need you to help me plan it. so. leather pants? and anderson's dreams about being tied up by george clooney. and jon and stephen's 'are they, aren't they, they are so are' campaign by the fans. jon likes to surf youtube when they're stuck on the bus and look fan videos. the best (worst) ones to plays over and over and over and over again when stephen's asleep. conan is the voice of reason. very tall reason.

I just see Anderson has being the kind of shy one who when you hand him a guitar and some leather pants goes completely nuts.

Aw! And while Stephen's sleeping, Jon takes incriminating photos of the two of them together and sends them to the gossip blogs.

Maybe Jon and Stephen would be the remnants of a band that had a messy break-up who met up with Conan, and Anderson was just some guy they picked up because he was really hot and could play.

Sometimes Anderson just wants to quit the band and go solo, but Stephen says that if Anderson did that, he would have release THOSE pictures to the press. Anderson isn't sure exactly what pictures Stephen is talking about and he's almost completely sure Stephen is joking, but sometimes when Stephen and Jon are asleep or doing god know what at the back of the bus, Anderson searches through Stephen's stuff, just to make actually sure no such photos exist. And he stays with band. Because he wants to, not because he's scared of a band who thinks it's funny to shove whole bananas down his throat.
