1. Is anybody else out there into Greek? If not, WHY NOT?! SERIOUSLY? I know when you think ABC Family you think "as if!", but if The O.C. had been less stupid or Gossip Girl wasn't so much about the wicked awesome clothes they might be as awesome as Greek!

Greek has m/m slash and f/f slash and het and gen and anything in between. There are black people and white people and Indian people and gay people and dorks, and it's SO college, but the good parts, and some of the bad parts. At least go to the website and click around. Discover your love of Cappie.

I DEFY you not to love Cappie.

If Seth Cohen hadn't been quite such a pompus tool and slightly cool, he would've... not been Cappie. He would be Rusty. Actually, Rusty's not cool as Cappie, either, but he wants to be. And his heart's in the right place. And Calvin! Gay and black and a wicked ex-hockey star and getting laid by adorable guys with dimples! Also, if Chuck and Nate from Gossip Girl had a baby, he would be Evan. Evan's kind of a tool. And for a change, even the girls are awesome too! At first it seems like Casey is a vapid cow, but she's got real heart, plus it turns out that Rebecca is the scheming whore and Ashleigh, you know, not bright, but her heart is in the right place. How can I not pimp this show?

All I'm saying is give peace a change give the show a chance. You can watch episodes right on the website! Just try it. Would I steer you wrong?


2. Gossip Girl is back tonight! Hooray! Go read this article in the meantime.


3. Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles fans, if you haven't read the things you know about a person by svilleficrecs I don't know what you're doing with your life. Seriously. It's Derek/John, and it's hot and so fucking twisted and so perfectly realized. When I finished reading it all I could think was "That's SO canon" and just, um, yeah.


3a. I had a thought after reading the above story for the second time (yes, I like it that much) that since Christian Bale has been cast as John Connor for the new series of Terminator movies (did you not know that?) that my brain has to reconcile Christian Bale having sex with Brian Austin Green. I just -- I can't see this. I think there's smoke coming out of my ears. Can ANYONE see this? Can you draw me a picture? Or a manip. Or um, something? We needs it precious! There'll be pron at the end of it for you!


ETA: #4: I don't supposed anyone would have a copy of the new Jason Mraz album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. lying around that they could upload for the class? How about just some Jason Mraz live? Help a sister out!

Greek rocks so much and I couldn't be happier it's finally back. (I mean, it took so long that I was a little afraid it wouldn't. What with the strike and airing of ABC Family and all.)

I love Greek, surprisingly. Guess it reminds me of my youth. LOL Seriously, though, it's one of my favorite shows. I'm shocked that I like all the characters...but I do. I fiend for my dose of Greek every week.

And I've resigned myself to going to the special hell reserved for people who just love the idea of Derek/John. I'm not usually one for underage...incestuousness (LOL, I'm scaring myself now just labeling it) but Thomas Dekker simple has chemistry with everyone, so I refuse to feel bad about my D/J OTP.

Of course, the thought of CB and BAG -- well, you just made my day. :))

I haven't seen a full episode of Greek, but I know folks who are into and we have a seminar coming up at work for it, so I imagine I'll be seeing an episode (or at least, a clip package) then.

I know what you mean about being shocked about liking all the characters on a show. The never happens to me, even the ones I don't particularly like I still think are excellent at what they do (Dale, Frannie, Rebecca).

As for Derek/John, I understand where you're coming from, really. It's so wrong, but so, you know, I mean... I BLAME BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN. And there's another sentence I ever thought I'd type in my life.
