1. Rahm has accepted the Chief of Staff job. FINALLY. I win all the cookies. I know you lot don't quite understand my love of Rahm Emanuel, so I will sum it up like this: Clooney in 2008 is totally hitting the Capitol. Rahm is the older brother of the real life Ari Gold.

Imagine if Nathan Petrelli and Ari Gold had a baby, and you get Rahm. Seriously. HE IS SO MONEY. Best administration EVER already. Rahm is totally going to turn D.C. out.

And I look forward to more tidbits from Newsweek. Although Palin's ignorance makes me marvel at the state of education in Alaska, and not in a good way. WHat's the deal? Eliminate evolutionary science and any kind of fact-based knowledge from the curriculum? I am beginnign to understand why her college career took her to half a dozen different places...

And I do find the idea that people relate to this attitude because they distrust elitists and want people who are on their level truly dispiriting.

Or rather, I would if she had been on the winning ticket.
