EVERYBODY BE COOL THIS IS A ROBBERY!

Okay I've been getting wonky traffic on this all day, so let's just say it now:

TOM HARDY HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED TO PLAY THE RIDDLER IN BATMAN 3

I REPEAT:

TOM HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED TO PLAY THE RIDDLER IN BATMAN 3.

Fact 1:
Yes, Tom's signed on to play A ROLE in Batman 3. A big role.

Fact 2: It could be The Riddler. Or it could be Nightwing. Or Jason Todd. Hell, he could be Solomon Grundy. Maybe he'll be DEADSHOT! Shit, that'd be awesome. Or Hugo Strange (we know how Tom is). But. Chris won't say, cause Chris never says until he is ready. You couldn't get Chris Nolan to confirm the color of the sky if he didn't want to.

Fact 3: The Riddler could still go to Joe. Stop sulking in your coffee; it's unbecoming. It's also possible that Joe was on the hook to take it, but is now taking time off for family reasons. That's understandable, let's all respect that.

Fact 4: Yes, we all know the Chris Nolan stable can keep you employed for your entire career if you play it right. BUT. Nothing is confirmed.

In conclusion: We have Tom + Chris + Batman = THE MOST AWESOME A GIRL (OR BOY) CAN GET WITH HER (OR HIS) CLOTHES ON. So, people please stop tripping out on me.

Be glad they pushed Mad Max to 2012, because now Tom can rock the fuck out of this. *\o/*

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming already in progress.

i don't think this is what [livejournal.com profile] inception_crack is attempting to say at all. obviously nolan knows what he wants and he should go for it. but when it seems like all he does is cast people he's worked with time after time, it gets old. and seeing fresh faces is always nice. and how will nolan know if he likes someone new if he's always casting old people?

that being said, if he hadn't cast people he'd worked with before, watanabe might never have been cast as saito. and what a tragedy we'd have had there.

Inception is a movie full of people Chris has never worked with before. In fact the only people who he had worked with before were Michael Caine and Ken Watanabe, who both came from the Batman franchise. Excuse me I forgot Cillian Murphy. That make three out of a joint cast of nine.

i stand corrected. i just felt that a clarification (and little bit defense) of [livejournal.com profile] inception_crack was necessary. i don't think he/she is trying to make anybody angry, just stating an opinion. i guess your reply seemed full of rage (at katie holmes for sucking) and i don't think people should get dissed for stating their opinions. disagreeing is fine, but politely. i've always felt your journal is a place where people can express their opinions safely, so i was a little surprised and jumped to his/her defense (perhaps without thinking).

i'd also like to thank you for being the voice of reason among many worked-up people. tom hardy as the riddler seems wrong to me, and i doubt JLG would give up the role of the riddler. and nolan would have to be heartless not to allow him some personal time off. there are so many options, there's no reason for people to be worried about what will happen yet. i'm glad there was a rational reply to it all.

i stand corrected. i just felt that a clarification (and little bit defense) of [info]inception_crack was necessary. i don't think he/she is trying to make anybody angry, just stating an opinion. i guess your reply seemed full of rage (at katie holmes for sucking) and i don't think people should get dissed for stating their opinions. disagreeing is fine, but politely. i've always felt your journal is a place where people can express their opinions safely, so i was a little surprised and jumped to his/her defense (perhaps without thinking).

In this replay you have a) assumed that [livejournal.com profile] inception_crack cannot defend themselves b) accused me of being "full of rage" c) stated that I "dissed" a commenter and d) insulted my journal my implying that I've some how turned it into a hotbed of hostility.

I cannot and will not speak for what [livejournal.com profile] inception_crack can and cannot do, but at no time have I spoken with rage or anger. If I do not like Katie Holmes, it's my prerogative. She was an example, nothing more. [livejournal.com profile] inception_crack posited an opinion; I gave my reply. I have not insulted her; I have not spoken derisively; I have said my piece. She has said her piece. I have not dissed anybody. We are having a conversation. Nothing more. Furthermore, your suggestion that I was jumping down someone's throat has no basis -- until now, because the way you are treating me in my own journal, that I find offensive.

alright. well. that was not my intent at all. "full of rage" is a phrase i use frequently, with no intent for insult. i didn't realize how it comes off if you haven't heard it before.

i would also like to apologize for coming off like a total bitch. i felt inclined to defend him/her because i partially agree. i hope you can believe that i didn't intend to offend you, but after rereading what i wrote, i can see why you would be offended. i sincerely apologize.
