EVERYBODY BE COOL THIS IS A ROBBERY!

Okay I've been getting wonky traffic on this all day, so let's just say it now:

TOM HARDY HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED TO PLAY THE RIDDLER IN BATMAN 3

I REPEAT:

TOM HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED TO PLAY THE RIDDLER IN BATMAN 3.

Fact 1:
Yes, Tom's signed on to play A ROLE in Batman 3. A big role.

Fact 2: It could be The Riddler. Or it could be Nightwing. Or Jason Todd. Hell, he could be Solomon Grundy. Maybe he'll be DEADSHOT! Shit, that'd be awesome. Or Hugo Strange (we know how Tom is). But. Chris won't say, cause Chris never says until he is ready. You couldn't get Chris Nolan to confirm the color of the sky if he didn't want to.

Fact 3: The Riddler could still go to Joe. Stop sulking in your coffee; it's unbecoming. It's also possible that Joe was on the hook to take it, but is now taking time off for family reasons. That's understandable, let's all respect that.

Fact 4: Yes, we all know the Chris Nolan stable can keep you employed for your entire career if you play it right. BUT. Nothing is confirmed.

In conclusion: We have Tom + Chris + Batman = THE MOST AWESOME A GIRL (OR BOY) CAN GET WITH HER (OR HIS) CLOTHES ON. So, people please stop tripping out on me.

Be glad they pushed Mad Max to 2012, because now Tom can rock the fuck out of this. *\o/*

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming already in progress.

Inception is a movie full of people Chris has never worked with before. In fact the only people who he had worked with before were Michael Caine, Cillian Murphy and Ken Watanabe, who all come from the Batman franchise. That makes three out of a joint cast of nine (including Marion, Leonardo, Ellen, Dileep, Joe, Tom). I don't think that shows a tendency to shy away from using new faces.

Actually, the number is ten because I forgot Tom Berenger.

The very first thing you said was:

I, for one, wish Nolan would cast actors he hasn't worked with before.

I then point out that he does, that Inception is full of them, and you say it doesn't count because it's an ensemble. I'm baffled.
