yeah, i know save the hexes for later

the betas. they are coming. no, i mean the ones that i owe people, i know i'm wayyyy behind and shit. sorry. i'd also like to take this very public forum to thank *my* betas - Kassie, Hope and Fay because they are all that and some strawberry jam.

i admit that everwood is my guilty pleasure and i want to see eminem live, very badly. oh, and did i mention that someone made me an offer unlike anything else i've heard recently...

a friend of a friend (you know how that goes) very much wants to get a greencard to stay in the country. the deal is for $20,000 in exchange for a marrriage. yeah, no this is real, not greencard, the movie.

i said no for a variety of reason. not that my ass couldn't use 20K - still without a car and all - but the downside far outweighs the benefits. married to some guy i don't know, forced to live together (oh, hell no), and all that lying and work. maybe if there was another zero involved i'd give it actually *thought* but you know. even i have some principles -- just not a lot of'em.

there are some things that money can't buy.

nods* I agree [if that's of any worth]. It's interesting, because most people dont' think about these things - either a running, screaming NOooo!!! or a, why not? so few people get the in between.

I tend to be much more of a gray-area type person. Good and bad on the same spectrum, as are right and wrong. I think that shows a lot in my writing - as for the offer I mean I immediately said no, but then I explained why.
