Meetings, trips, dinners and takeovers are all the same, it doesn’t really matter. Whether Clark’s camped out on the sofa so he can greet Lex when he comes walking through the door looking tired and drawn, or he keeps Lex’s space open on the right side of the bed, they’re just these things Clark does because he needs Lex in his life.

I love that. I just love how much they fit into each other's lives and there is that spot, when Lex isn't there, that's quite obviously empty in Clark's life. I love this. And as always, I love you.
