Who took the jam out your donut?

One, I am writing canon for the first time in my fandom memory according to [livejournal.com profile] edigo

Two, Minnie Driver can sing. Yes, the actress. Close your mouth before flies get in. I heard her earlier this year live, and she’s just, whoa. If she releases an LP I’m all over it, kids, and I normally don’t listen to female singers because of all the warbling and bad production.

Three, apparently I am moody. Watch out.

Four, sign up for the OCFF if you’re trying to get your hands on some tailor-made OC fan fic. You do have to write something yourself though, don’t think this is all take and no give. All genres welcome. Sekrit het shippers should get their arses over there, too. Just saying.

Five, I have 37 icons. 21 of these have been provided by [livejournal.com profile] obsessedmuch, because my begging is effective on her. *loves lar*

I also have 3 from [livejournal.com profile] marleigh and [livejournal.com profile] semisuper, 2 from [livejournal.com profile] pandarus, and 1 from [livejournal.com profile] lugonn, [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma, [livejournal.com profile] slodwick, [livejournal.com profile] spasticat, [livejournal.com profile] taraljc, [livejournal.com profile] valentinemichel, the fine girls at dapper designs and another from Pretty Pieces of Paper.

Cheers to everybody who’s heeded my howling pleas and hours of trawling.

Six, there should be something reading worthy in this space tomorrow. I’ve heard there’s smut involved.

ETA: I heard a rumor that somebody actually made a Telegraph Avenue mix, is this true? What's on it? Will you tell me? Do you like it?

At the risk of sounding weird? dorky? losery? I will admit that I did make a Telegraph Avenue CD, and it is now my favorite thing to play while driving. Though I doubt the rumor is about me, because maybe one relevant person knows I made it. :)

As for what's on it, I had to modify the list you provided to fit in on one CD. The Ryan Adams, Weezer, Ramones went easily because I know and love them all anyway. I kept Matt Nathanson despite the fact that Miracles is one of my favorites and I know it well--they saw him! Some I couldn't find non-sabotaged versions of (50 Cent, Talib Kweli), so that helped. Some I couldn't find at all, also helping. (Yes, I was using an illegal file-sharing program, oops?) But I love the mix after the cut a lot, especially the Stone Roses and Doves songs, both of which I'd never even heard of before. So that's nice. Thank you.

1. Fools Gold – Stone Roses;
2. One Man Guy – Rufus Wainwright;
3. I Can – Nas;
4. The Last Broadcast – Doves;
5. Sympathy for the Devil – The Rolling Stones;
6. Mojo Pin – Jeff Buckley;
7. A Movie Script Ending – Death Cab for Cutie;
8. Miracles – Matt Nathanson;
9. Bittersweet Symphony – The Verve;
10. Train in Vain – The Clash;
11. 19-2000 – Gorillaz;
12. Elevators - Outkast;
13. Check the Rhime – A Tribe Called Quest;
14. Crazy About You – Whiskeytown;
15. The Way Young Lovers Do – Van Morrison;
16. Everything in its Right Place – Radiohead;
17. Angel – Massive Attack;
18. Rock the Casbah – The Clash

Are you kidding? I think that's so hella cool, that I'm just beside myself. Both my inner Seth and I just keeping saying "dude."

Well, cool! It really is some fantastic music.
