I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

My personal goal is: to get over my writer's block, write my Obscure Santa thingy, and perhaps do something illegal this weekend.

I aim high.

Hmmm I fall off the sidewalk a lot. It's now a running joke. I love archaeology and making conversation jumps that confuse everyone but me.

Is this a drunken thing, because you know sidewalks when you're drunk are hazardous.

Actually it started as just that. I was drunk, yet I denied it to everyone and continued denying it until BAM I was off the sidewalk in a mud puddle, on my ass!
Since then I have actually had a couple of sober (or somewhat sober) falls. Hence the running jokes.

I jumped off the curb once when I was drunk, because it seemed like a good idea. You know how the curb is like five inches from the street? I landed wrong and twisted my ankle. Yet another true story.

I have learned the hard way that those ideas really suck. I once, after watching XXX, got the idea that I could jump my Dodge Neon over the neighbor's garbage cans. I couldn't and I absolutly destroyed the garbage cans, is it my fault they use the cheap ones? My answer is no!
