I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

My personal goal is: to get over my writer's block, write my Obscure Santa thingy, and perhaps do something illegal this weekend.

I aim high.

Hmm. I move around a lot. I lived in Italy for two years. Boston for a year on either side. And now NYC, since September. Despite my recent inability to settle down, I am ridiculously loyal and get attached to things to the point of (not too unhealthy, I like to think...) obsession. The whole fandom thing works into that well. I love Ira Glass with a great and enduring passion. Also eggplant, artichokes, peaches, cheese, and dark chocolate. Spinach too. And your fic, which perhaps you've noticed.

I'm a traveller, too, I miss London the most. I have no idea who Ira Glass is, but I love art by Al Hirshfeld and Hiroshige. Dorothy Parker is my quotable favorite next to Oscar Wilde. I love escargot when it's done well, although apparently most people don't. I love seafood, chinese food, really good oranges, tea and fruit smoothies. Also, I don't like dark chocolate, but I love milk chocolate. *smiles*
