In accordance with [livejournal.com profile] slodwick’s decree:

This time last year I was answering questions about myself. However. I am notoriously cagey and tend to be rather private so, we’re not going to do that again this year. Instead, if you want, I want you to tell me more about yourselves. Anything you want to tell me. It can be about your favorite colour or your favorite singer or your favorite kind of toothpaste. Tell me about your favorite book or your favorite kind of sneaker. Who was the first person you kissed? What’s your favorite city? If you were Supreme Dictator/Il Duce, who would you strand on a desert island? Do you think you’re kinky or is it vanilla all the way? What’s your favorite quote? What's your favorite comic? Who do you want to play poker with after you die? What the hell are we all doing here? Are you into DIY?

Tell me something. Enlighten me.

*snerk*

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
You *missed* the porn. How do you MISS porn? Oh, I'm so disappointed in you. For shame.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, I do have a question back for you: What is DIY? Could you explain? Thanks!

DIY = Do It Yourself. Like, you know, like Changing Rooms or Trading Spaces or Home Improvement or whatever the newest thing is.

My favorite book: Stephen King's It. I love the magic of friendship and the power of belief, the Losers who save the world, and best of all, King gets it that clowns are evil, yo.

That Made-for-TV movie scarred me for life. I've never liked clowns and seeing approximately 30 seconds of that movie gave me nightmares.

He tasted like Dr. Pepper, which I hate, but he kissed gooooood.

Dude, Dr Pepper is your friend, don't hate on the pure sugar. Also, my inner Lex said that Clark tasted like Dr Pepper the first time they kissed, but since I've been very heavy in the Adam promotion I'm not listening. But he won't stop talking. He also said that Clark belched right beforehand, which, yes, very male, but also, ew.

Due credit has been given, and also new, blue shiny things are generally always of the good.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Music is a very, very personal choice; I'm glad you've found a style that suits you.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
What the hell are we all doing here? Wasting time between new episodes.

Oh, that was so profound of you. Word. Also, I'm not even that big on Trading Spaces, but Vern can redesign my crib any time. Have you been listening to Ryan's recent stuff by any chance?

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
That is an absolutely beautiful comment; you are totally right to hold on such a great memory.

[identity profile] random-flores.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh sure, you tell me now.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Dude, would it be weird of I just said that seems very you? Like in a totally good way though? Dude, I want a Buddha for my flat now!

[identity profile] ethrosdemon.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Charlie Hunnam.
I thought you of all people would know, since I have said before how I fancy him as Draco. (Watch Nicolas Nickleby, he's even got the Malfoy clothes on in it)

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I generally ID him by his hair though, and that's a rather closely cropped photo.

[identity profile] ethrosdemon.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
So I'm reading Dissipation and Despair (which I assume you've read since it stars BOTH of your boys) and now I'm thinking that I am going to have to find a weird pairing for Draco of my very own and write him as a mean bastard. I love AJ Hall's fics, for the Malfoy family backstory and Neville's Gran mainly, but I just have trouble with Draco being so nice. Savvy?

[identity profile] serialkarma.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
would it be weird of I just said that seems very you?

ha! no, the mantel is my favorite part of my room. Maybe that's why. cluttered, disorganized, eclectic, yes that all fits.

Also, the Buddha rocks. I was all WTF? when my friend gave it to me, but it totally grew on me. Ebay, baby, you can find anything.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not really into AJ Hall's stuff. I tried Lust Over Pendle and it was just wasn't for me, so no I haven't read the other one that you're talking about. I've heard about it,of course, but yeah. And if you want a character to make your own, how about Blaise? If people can't even figure out a character's gender then you know there's room to play.

[identity profile] ethrosdemon.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, but he's a Slytherin, but maybe that could be funny, Draco won't screw anyone who isn't Up to Standards. If someone's not fit to clean your toilet, they're hardly fit to fuck (or kiss, for the love of Viggo).

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)
There's your title right there. Up to Standards. All you have to do is cast him, and um, dude, Henry Cavill. Think about the hotness there.

[identity profile] ethrosdemon.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know what to type. My head exploded. You had to bring my man into this, didn't you? THE SHOULDERS! What if Blaise is welsh? oh god. I might die now. He was obviously named after Pascal, who was NOT a muggle, but got kicked out of the Society for Experimental Magics because he dabbled in muggle thought. Blaise was named for him because his mother is decended from Pascal and the family pretends he died in an attack on mudbloods with Seamus Slytherin.

**

also, damn you

[identity profile] happyminion.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Bwahahahaha.

It's so interesting to see what Lex keeps as souvenirs in order to maintain some Clark...balance and perspective.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Dude, that's your intro right there...

Blaise was named for Pascal, who was not a muggle.....Draco knows this beause it's the first thing Blaise said to him when they met.

They were six.

Ten years later Blaise is still just as sanctimonious and full of pureblooded pride, which is quite possibly the only reason that Draco still tolerates him...

[identity profile] ethrosdemon.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
You want to write a fic with me, huh? lol

They were six.

Ten years later Blaise is still just as sanctimonious and full of pureblooded pride, which is quite possibly the only reason that Draco still tolerates him...but Draco is anything but self-delusional, and he knows his toleration for Blaise is directly related to the way he fills his robes and what his shoulders look like out of them.

Blaise is an idiot, just like 99% of the world (and 100% of Gryffindors and muggles). He says things like:

"If you think sneering is sexy, then maybe you should shag your dad."

and

"Playing Quidditch is truly gauche. You make yourself a spectacle for the masses. I'm above that."

and

"Arthrimancy is the only pure for of magic."

Draco curses him mute on a regular basis, but there is apparently some arthrimantic charm that allows him to cast it off.

Blaise is intelligent, and Draco can't tell him what to think or do. Draco really hates that in a person.

[identity profile] torchthisnow.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
That's not the one to skip, save that for something like Econ or Statistics!

See, this is why I love being a screenwriting major - I don't have to take classes in either of those. No math for me! And I really LIKE mythology, but I had an excuse to skip - the guitarist for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs was supposed to call for an interview, and he was LATE. Grrr.

And yes, the makeup transference was brought up later. Loudly. By the director. In the dressing room. In the form of yelling at us. Hee.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not writing this with you... I'm just egging you on because I want to see something new. I'm jaded and all.

Draco really hates that in a person. He hates it even more in a person he shags on a regular basis, and if Blaise weren't able to do other things so well with his mouth, Draco suspects he'd try to find a way to keep him under a permanent variation of the Silencio Charm...

It's not just enough that Blaise is intelligent and sarcastic and good-looking enough to be worthy of Malfoy company, it's also that he knows he has all these qualities and he never hesitates to use them to his advantage. Even Millicent has been known to fall under the Zabini charm, and that's just wrong.

Blaise's father also happens to be almost Lucius Malfoy's equal, and so their liaison is not commented upon. Except by Potter and his rabble.

Blaise is sometimes entertaining. He loathes Mudbloods and muggles, as one should, and he hates Potter on principle. He makes Draco smile, usually only internally; it's never good to show weakness.

Blaise set Granger's skirts on fire with an Eternal Flame Charm, and said "Her pants were on fire for the Weasel, I thought it'd be amusing to see the skirt go, too."

He nicked Pansy's purse and planted it on Longbottom. There was no comment necessary when Snape reduced Longbottom to apopolexy and unconsciousness.

Draco thinks that Blaise's best caper was getting the Mark and hiding it from that school staff. That they never speak of, but at night, they lay in Draco's bed and lick each other, tongues sliding over ink invisible to anyone with out a matching Mark, and share secrets with no names.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, this made me howl:

Blaise set Granger's skirts on fire with an Eternal Flame Charm, and said "Her pants were on fire for the Weasel, I thought it'd be amusing to see the skirt go, too."

Slytherin to the core, kids. Also, congrats, you have written your first Blaise/Draco vignette. I expect to see more as there are lots of questions that need to be answered: Who tops? Where does Blaise spend his summer holidays? Did Draco lose his virginity to Blaise's older brother, Thom? What did Draco said when he found that Ravenclaw sucking Blaise off? What do they call their 'arrangement?'

[identity profile] ethrosdemon.livejournal.com 2004-02-27 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm writing the fic to directly answer your questions. That is the format. So if you think of more, lob 'em over. (I guess I'm over my block? Might as well get in your requests for what you really want to see [not hp, so you, sassypants, don't care about it anymore, neener neener])
