Just your friendly, neighborhood pimp.

1) The link for the new Prisoner of Azkaban trailer. I feel a cold coming on right around 4 June. Also? Jailbait. The other, other white meat.

2) Lenore talks about how to get what you want, if you keep thinking you're, you know, entitled to anything from your fandom. In other words. How to make the most of your fannish experience by relying on yourself.

3) On last night’s The O.C. – Welcome back, Josh, we’ve missed you. I heard about that writer’s block thingy, it’s a bitch, ain’t it? *adores madly*

4a) I’m not sure what I shall write today. Does anybody have any visuals that I can work with? First come, first served (provided that I can actually think of something of course).

4b) Does anybody know where I can find that Dom/Billy photograph where Dom's wearing the scarf and Billy's got the purple shirt, I believe it was the Berlin premiere. I'm suddenly inspired by Dom looking like Rudolph.

I am writing HP and drinking tea made from blood oranges.

/random moment that may or may not inspire.

Heh, since you're also asking for words to play with, how about: momentum, pillow, subtle, icy.

I'd give you a visual clue, but I'm not sure what fandom you're in the mood for. But if you want to pick some fandoms, I'll pick a picture for you.

First time locker-room sex is always good. Towels and sweat and uncomfortable but so-good-cause-it's-naughty press of benches. Sometimes, steam from the showers.

...And you like Sondre Lerche. I've seen him twice in concert. The best was at this teeny venue in San Francisco, where about twenty of us were pressed close, and he talked intimately to us for hours. So polite, so charming, so boyish, so utterly sincere.

And good lord, he's twenty. Some things are so good they should be forbidden. Not that I think I could get in his pants or anything. Better men have tried, I'm sure.

Lenore is well-spoken, but she hasn't said anything that hasn't been said before in a 100 different fandoms and when it comes down to it I'm not sure how valuable many of those points are for the large majority of fandom participants so ultimately I think it is frustrating advice.

Writing a story that other people will emulate, in my opinion, requires much more than good solid writing. It requires that the writer herself be a tastemaker and I think that quality of personality requires a lot more than simply barracking for one's causes or being the first to trumpet a new idea. It requires the right person to do it. Same goes with promoting other aspects of fandom.

I'm not sure which photograph that you want, but I've got a few of the good-quality, unwatermarked ones uploaded here (http://img24.photobucket.com/albums/v71/fugitivehound/026.jpg), here (http://img24.photobucket.com/albums/v71/fugitivehound/027.jpg), here (http://img24.photobucket.com/albums/v71/fugitivehound/dombilly01.jpg), and here (http://img24.photobucket.com/albums/v71/fugitivehound/dombillyberlin.jpg).

I was thinking that Luke's transformation from asshole jock to lovable doofus, echoes that of Everwood's Bright Abbott (and in a lesser degree, Roswell's Kyle Valenti)?
