Help me, I'm broke up on my insides...

I saw a billboard for a movie called Friday Night Lights last week and in it three football players were holding hands; I got very interested.

And I then found out that it's actually about football. Talk about a let down.

Can anybody recc me some quality Dean/Seamus stories? They seem to be a bit thin on the ground, and I've cast Callum Blue (Dead Like Me) as Seamus, but I have no Dean. I thought about Idris Elba (Ultraviolet, The Wire) but he's, well, he's just too much man for Seamus.

*wipes away drool*

Where were we?

Right. Dean/Seamus reccs. Neville reccs.

Recc me something to inspire me: Alias, due South, Entourage, HP, LOTRips, My So-Called Life, The O.C., Ocean's Eleven, Teen Titans & Bat-verse, X2...

Bat-verse. Dick/Tim AU. [livejournal.com profile] thete1's Eidos (http://teland.com/eidos.html), a lot disturbing and yet my favorite Dick/Tim story. Ever.

How much do I love Callum Blue? I think a lot. How scary is it that I keep lusting after men named Callum? I think I need to be frightened.

Yeah, I've been wondering the same thing. About me, I mean not you.

Er. In case that was confusing. Which it probably wasn't.

Yeah, I think I need to go eat food now.

You probably already have it, but Academic Punk hits all the right buttons. Or at least, all of *my* right buttons. Plus, Ray with *glasses*. (http://theburrow.net/ds/punkp.html)

Good Dean/Seamus is rare, but I'd recommend Worth It (http://ashes.exitseraphim.org/writing/worthit.html) and Thousand (http://ashes.exitseraphim.org/writing/thousand.html) by [livejournal.com profile] sangredulce. I'd also recommend her fics Easily (http://ashes.exitseraphim.org/writing/easily.html) which is Dean/Harry/Ron/Seamus and A Taste of Honey (http://ashes.exitseraphim.org/writing/atasteofhoney.html) and it's companion If You Want (http://ashes.exitseraphim.org/writing/ifyouwant.html). As far as O.C. fic goes, have you read Perfect Broken People (http://www.livejournal.com/users/foreign_element/26665.html) by [livejournal.com profile] foreign_element? It's some pretty decent Anna/Seth/Summer/Ryan/. Hope you like 'em =)

Thank you so much for the [livejournal.com profile] sangredulce recs; it's been ages since I'd read Bec's stuff and I totally forgot.

I don't have a Dean/Seamus rec but I do have a Dean icon. Because I used him as a fairly main character in my big gay HP novel, but I didn't make him gay. I did abuse him woefully, though.

We all love your Dean, don't kid yourself. :D

Like [livejournal.com profile] phineasjones, I was trying to remember a Dean/Seamus I had seen recently...I found this in my "To Read" list and finally read it: It's Sinhalese by [livejournal.com profile] lardencelover - a cute, fun fic. Though I think there must be another recent one that I haven't tracked down yet...

I'll second the rec of the stories by [livejournal.com profile] sangredulce (Bec.) And I just discovered [livejournal.com profile] deamus but haven't had time to read anything yet.

Read it, thought it was adorable. Thanks!

I love the following four:

Worth It (http://ashes.exitseraphim.org/writing/worthit.html) by Bec

You Know (http://students.vassar.edu/amhirst/YouKnow.html) by Pip Malfoy

Best Laid (http://students.vassar.edu/amhirst/BestLaid.html) by V

Taste of Honey (http://students.vassar.edu/amhirst/Honey.html) by Bec

For a longer piece, most shippers seem to love this finished novel-length (http://www.schnoogle.com/authorLinks/Miss_Cora/Friendship_Loyalty_And_Love/) by Miss Cora, which I haven't finished yet.

And! Better Living Through Learning (http://www.livejournal.com/users/ethrosdemon/15600.html) by [livejournal.com profile] ethrosdemon.

Uhm, looks like everyone's already recced Bec. Well, she truly is a great writer.

Sorry about that - perfectionist.

What? No [livejournal.com profile] jlh? Clio's fics are listed in a sidebar on her userpage, and she does a lovely, lovely Seamus/Dean.
