(yes, deliberate spelling, relax) And then they would scam together when Danny was in jail, and Rusty would call from the road, and Danny would be all 'you better not be with that two-bit con', and Rusty would say, 'so what does that make you?'

FYI: a con man is short for a 'confidence man', and a confidence man has a two-fold job when attempting a con a) inspire enough confidence in his mark to sucessfully complete his scam and b) be confident in himself enough to sell his scam. Without A and B a scam won't work. It just won't.

A tell is something a con man reads off of his mark, but it also refers to signals you read when you're working with your shill.

A shill is the second person, or multiple people, involved in a scam to make it successful. For example: in one of those card-games on the street or the thing with the pea, you generally have the con, the shill pretends who wins the con to inspire confidence, and then you have the mark.

Now, everyone go forth and write con-man stories!

Did I mention I re-watched The Sting this weekend? And I kept thinking "if they ever do a remake of this movie, George Clooney and Brad Pitt should totally star in it."

And then I remembered they already did Ocean's 11/12 and that might be too much scamming.

Ryan wants Seth, Seth wants Ryan, Seth acts like a dick so Ryan decides to teach him a lesson. Enter Zach. Zach sweats Seth, but sekritly sweats Ryan more. Zach and Ryan get it on and Seth freaks out. Zack and Seth get it on and Ryan freaks out. Enter Luke! Luke steals away Ryan and Seth's toyboy and takes him to Portland, thus leaving Seth and Ryan to their own devices.

Yes, please to the Ocean's 11 crossover. Though can Linus play, cause I love him in all his geeked out fabulousness. I bet he's try to be all tough with Sawyer, but would be kind of scared him too and would at some point hide behind Rusty and it would be kind of adorable.

And now I imagining Rusty and Sawyer working together and more importantly eating a lot of fast food together like french fries. There would be something ridiculously awesome and hot about them eating french fries together. The would stare at each other the whole time. Each bite would be a challenge and they would be staring at each other's mouths the whole time and at the end Rusty would wipe his greasy hands on Sawyer's jacket.

I think it would have been much more interesting though to have it be Kate and Sayed doing it, with Jack being the one who can't stomach it. That would have given a weakness to Jack, who's becoming far to perfect for my taste, and made Kate's possible criminal past grittier. It would have also added more impact to the final scene IMO.

See, I don't really like Jack, but I really don't feel the Kate love. Her holier than thou thing urks me. I feel like at least they made Jack a little fallible last night, but Kate being Queen really gets on my tits.

I was so disappointed Boone couldn't join in. I think my hand went to slap Shannon, but it hit the TV instead. :\

I like Shannon, she's a bitch and doesn't pretend to be anything else. I don't like Kate being Queen though, she irks me.

You know, the first I ever heard from the OC was when I was reading some of your lotrips fics for the first time and saw you'd written a lot of things for a lot of fandoms. I was all "What is this OC?" and googled it, learning that it's a tv-show that hasn't been shown here in Finland.
Well, recently there have been commercials on TV advertising it and looks like they're going to start airing it soon. And since I'd seen so much OC fic on your LJ and a bunch of others, I've just been all hyped over it, wanting to see if it's truly as slashy as people have been saying.

And from the promos it looks like an awesome show overall, so looking forward to it. Part of the excitement naturally comes from finally getting to read your (and some other great authors') OC fic.

Just thought I'd mention. :D
