Multi-fandom burbling
a) O.C. fans, everybody thinks our show is really gay. Even the actors! Excuse me, especially the actors. Yeah, try and tell me the one about 'the women' again! I had some inner-Seth thoughts last night, but I'm still bitter at him and told him to piss off.
2) I wrote more Nott-verse. Sorry, Thousandth Man-verse: You and Me See How We Are
c)
* Jack/Boone. Wow. A little hurt-comfort goes a long way. D'you think Jack got a stiffie off fixing Boone up? I think so! Also, um, how upset was Boone that Jack and Sayid were punishing Sawyer without him? Soooo upset.
* Um, Shannon/Sun all the way, people! Or barring that -- Sun/Michael.
* Oh, Sawyer, not only are you an asshole, but you're a fucked up asshole. Who can kiss! Wow, I think it might be serious lust between you and I, now.
*
circe_tigana was right, Hurley's got a biiiig Jack-crush. A big Jedi-shaped crush.
* I need an Ocean's 11/Sawyer Nameless-Hottie-with-the-dimples-of-doom X-over. Dude, Rusty and Dimples! AHHHHHHH!! Shit, I may have to write that myself the need is so great. Danny would hate him and Rusty would find him so amusing and Danny would be jellus! (yes, deliberate spelling, relax) And then they would scam together when Danny was in jail, and Rusty would call from the road, and Danny would be all 'you better not be with that two-bit con', and Rusty would say, 'so what does that make you?'
FYI: a con man is short for a 'confidence man', and a confidence man has a two-fold job when attempting a con a) inspire enough confidence in his mark to sucessfully complete his scam and b) be confident in himself enough to sell his scam. Without A and B a scam won't work. It just won't.
A tell is something a con man reads off of his mark, but it also refers to signals you read when you're working with your shill.
A shill is the second person, or multiple people, involved in a scam to make it successful. For example: in one of those card-games on the street or the thing with the pea, you generally have the con, the shill pretends who wins the con to inspire confidence, and then you have the mark.
Now, everyone go forth and write con-man stories!
Who else is really excited that it's Thursday? I am! I may have to go write some porn or something.
