I'm like a 1.5 or a 2.

FYI: Kinsey? Fabulous fucking film, people! I cannot recommend it highly enough. I think the entire first half or 2/3 should be shown in schools as a learning tool; the sexual misconceptions it addressed only showed how far people haven't come in some ways. It was incredibly engaging and well-done, my only lament is that the people who need to see it wouldn't go in a million years.

Also, we saw House of the Flying Daggers, which as expected, was visually awe-inspiring. It will take your breath away with how beautiful the costumes and cinematography are. The storyline wasn't the most engaging, but the beauty of the film makes up for a lot. If you love these sort of films, you could do a lot worse.

i'm *so* looking forward to this film. i saw a flyer for it the other day and had a whol e"my eyes are deceiving me" moment before i realised that yes, it actually was *that* Kinsey.

I know! Wasn't it fabulous! Peter Saarsgard is so my new movie boyfriend. I was really impressed with it. I was worried they'd try to make it much more salacious than it did. Really good movie.
