Friend or not friend, any fandom, if something rings hard and I’m in the mood to recc, I will. This list is all well and good, except I'm having a problem. I have things to write, but I seem incapable of writing them. Like the words won't come. They are blocked. It's an awful feeling. Perhaps I am trying to do too much at one time. Too many ideas. I need to do something small. Anyone got anything inspirational they wanna fling my way? Music, pictures, improv words? Help!

Special aside: I'm much more of a giver than a taker, and I don't always receive gifts particularly well, as some people know, but I'm always touched when people give me things of their own free will, just because they can. Don't have much in the way of music to offer, although I have been listening to Golden Brown by The Stranglers (http://s16.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=27B19IWRMQ01H3FQ1UE2XURKQD) rather a lot. Gah, it is godawful. Except it happens to me all the time, and always at very inopportune moments, such as when I'm writing papers.

However, when I'm looking to do improv, I use either 15minuteficlets or oneword (http://www.oneword.com) to try and prod out some inspiration.
