Your post is an eerie reminder of September 11, when people I scarcely knew, from the internet and various fandoms, all emailed me to find out if I was all right, because they knew I lived in Manhattan. My heart goes out to you, all of you, your friends, your families, and also the strangers neither you nor I nor those terrorists ever knew, the people who died or were injured today. There may be plans behind these terrible acts, but there is no sense, and no humanity. It's easy for me to believe that these so-called "religious" fanatics are not religious at all, but soulless, godless, and less than human.
