P-I-M-P

I know I've been blabbing about Kitchen Confidential for a while now, but with good reason, dammit! Do you think [livejournal.com profile] slodwick would've made [livejournal.com profile] greg_the_fish for no reason? Exactly! The show has Will Tippin! And Xander Harris! And the pilot has John Cho. And perhaps the cheekiest, most endearingly hot Englishman since House, Owain Yeoman. The slash is everywhere! They're the straightest gay men ever.

Okay, I see you wavering; you are a Doubting Thomasina. For you, the big fish, err, guns, the first KC story written ever is by [livejournal.com profile] rageprufrock, yeah, show the girl some love: The Queen of England, but wait, there is more! You can't have the humour without the sex, hence [livejournal.com profile] nifra_idril got on board too: A Virtuous Man.

Damn, I guess I'll have to play too. Maybe today. First, icons. Slod? Did you make icons?

Only this one, really, which you are welcome to share, if you like. Otherwise... well, we'll see what tonight brings. *g*

Erm. This one, rather.

ICONS! ICONS! ICONS! ICONS!

*marches around WITH A PLACARD AND EVERYTHING*

*giggles and joins Bex with placard*

(OMG, Bex, Ioan is so pretty)

He is! And slod made the icon, which is further proof that she should make us all KC icons.

Don't question my logic!

Heee! *clears schedule*

Yea, verily the people have spoken.

Does this count as RPS since the show is based on an autobiography? Heh.

Only if you're seeing Anthony Bourdain instead, which I am so not. Not that I don't love him, but dude, he's no Bradley Cooper.

Touché!

[identity profile] sparky77.livejournal.com 2005-09-27 04:42 pm (UTC)(link)
I hadn't watched the first episode, but I caught it last night and totally freaked. It was instant hot men in the kitchen flirting with eachother love.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-09-27 04:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, you must see it or get a torrent, it's just, there are no words. Plus, Greg the Fish. And the finger! And the craziness.

[identity profile] sparky77.livejournal.com 2005-09-27 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)
I will! Though I think I'm still a bit stunned for the show last night and the leather jacket. For some reason I'm a bit fixated on the leather jacket and especially how he used it as blanket for the boy on his couch... and why was there a boy sleeping on his couch?

You could try [livejournal.com profile] kitcon_eps. *g*

Awesome. Thank you!

And wow, that's a pretty icon!

Wait, a new fandom you're writing I'm not in on? Gahhh.

I'll try to download this series or something.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-09-27 09:39 pm (UTC)(link)
You really must see it, if only for the insanely sardonic humour.

[identity profile] crimsonclad.livejournal.com 2005-09-28 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Jack and Steven is all well and good, but I would be far more interested in Jack tutoring Jim in the ways of cooking and HOT LOVE.
