With your morning announcements...

a) I don’t write on the weekends, but I was coerced into doing such a thing yesterday for the dictator also known as Kassie, ergo, part 1 of The Incredibly True Adventures of Four Stars, Two Actors In Love, and One Gay Landmark AKA That Story About George and Brad Making Jake and Jared into Man Trade is up here. The prologue can be found here.

ETA: Research for this series is out of control. With TV, canon only changes twenty-odd times a year. These boys are doing shit every five minutes! George is starting fights! Jake's in NYC this week! OMG, does anybody know where Jared is? He's playing house with Lindsey frakking Lohan in LA! Oh, you can't make this shit up.

2) Today is the last day to sign up for [livejournal.com profile] yuletide if you are eligible, so get your shit together! Time is running out.

c) Every week I think I can't love Grey's Anatomy any more and yet, Shonda Rimes continues to prove me wrong. Wow, she so rocks. I love George and Bailey THIS MUCH OMGBBQQ!!!!! Also, McDreamy should not be that hot, it's just wrong – but so right.

d) Jarhead may possibly be the gayest war movie ever; Jake just permeates everything. Wow. Way to laugh hysterically and inappropriately for two hours. Ah, bless. Riki-tiki bitches!

5) Rome is the most bi-polar show ever. How it manages to be so fucking boring and so crazy is just inexplicable. Also, Titus Pullo needs a hug. And major anger management therapy.

6) When is Entourage coming back?! I need Ari! *sulks*

7) If you haven't heard about Sony trying to fuck you without asking, uh, you best read this article from CNET. Now.

Shit, I done forgot, again:

Happy Belated Birthday [livejournal.com profile] goss!!!

This may be the most brilliant statement ever *g*

Also, dammit, I need to start watching one of any of the shows that you're into, because I'm seriously missing the [livejournal.com profile] hackthis crack. (Looks like it might be BSG, as [livejournal.com profile] 2am_optimism is threatening to tie my down until I watch it with her.)

[identity profile] lyra-sena.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)
YES. BSG IT IS. Look how happy Starbuck is to hear that! *points to icon*

And Z, I have put off signing up for yuletide cause I know it's going to take forever and I'm going to wind up offering a bajillion fandoms. *sighs* OH! But Grey's is so awesome and I want to pinch George's cheeks all the time.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
You will love BSG. You will do that dance of happiness and hotness. Helo! Tyrol! Lee! Starbuck! This is the first series since My So-Called Life that's got a female protagonist that I could relate to. It's got drama like This Life* -- darling, you must watch it. The prettiness is just, like, whoa.**

*If you want the hardcore crack, I am writing RPS right now, but shhh, that's like a sekrit. Except for the pimping.

**Look at my icon!

I know she's got his tattoo mark on her foot, and I know they're working on Chapter 27, the new Beatle film. I don't think filming started yet -- but I just want to see his pretty ass anyway :D

You win at life! *twirls*

Oh, dude, fyi, Jared went to my junior high, and my best friend's mom (who was my 7th grade history teacher) taught him when he was there.

He was apparently an arrogant little shit. shocking, no?

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
All I read in my research is he's a shit! he's a shit! (http://cityrag.blogs.com/main/2005/11/jared_ledo_suck.html) -- oh, well, that's why this is fiction. I can just make him a tortured artist instead. Also, Jake bought a puppy! Dude, I die from the adorable.

[identity profile] serialkarma.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
oh, well, that's why this is fiction. I can just make him a tortured artist instead.

I was about to ask, really, why on *earth* would someone be attracted to that?

Also, Jake bought a puppy! Dude, I die from the adorable.

Cutest thing EVER.

Did I also tell you that apparently he's hung like, well, Ron Jeremy.

Jared sure gets around doesn't he?

I love the guy, but he just looks like he'd be a walking STD.

[identity profile] marginalia.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 06:39 pm (UTC)(link)
of course, george is also "quipping" that he likes guys. so i say hurrah for canon changing ;)

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, George is just chock full of RPS goodness. You wouldn't happen to have a link to this particular discussion would you? Not that he doesn't say these things every five seconds, but I like putting links in my stories for those who aren't as up-to-date.

voila, today's comment (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9916537/).

Ah, you rock! ::goes back to cracked out RPS::

The heat wasn't something you adjusted to, got used to, moved on from, forgot about. The heat was alive, the only enemy Tony had faced besides himself. Tony assembled his fun, click, click, clickclickclick, the movements faster and faster, a meditation that allowed his mind to wander. The heat wrapped around him, shoved him, and he dropped his magazine.

"FUCK YOU!" Tony swiveled his head, flipped the heat the bird.

"The heat does funny things to people, Swofford. One time my uncle done lost his entire mind down near El Paso, shot up his neighbors cattle." Kruger wiped the back of his hand against his forehead. "I don't look like no steer to you, Swofford, do I now?" He laughed, but the edge was there.

"No, Kruger, you look like a queer, don't worry." Clickclicklclick.

Hee! Scrolly text! Thanks babe. :D

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm so sorry that's late, chicken. Every day I'd be all "don't forget!" and then I'd forget, my bad! I hope you had a fabulous day!

[identity profile] silverakira.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
d) Holy crap, I was overwhelmed with the gay. It just -- I didn't even have to look for it, it was there, ALL OVER THE SCREEN.

7) What the fuck? Seriously, what the fuck? Sony loses, so much.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
d) I just sat there for the longest time like, "For real? For real real? Stop lying!"

1. Here's how much that RPS has INFECTED MY BRAIN. Last night on L&O: Two Pairs of Detectives, they all had to work together on a case that required the two boy detectives to reel off all sorts of arcane stuff about the Rat Pack. They left to make an arrest, and the Kathryn Erbe character looks at the Annabella Sciorra character and says, "There they go: Ocean's Two." My first thought was Perfect name for the redone Boom Boom Room! It's all your fault.

2. Puppy! I love how Sarsgaard's sitting there thinking, Shit. Now Maggie'll want one. Also, why have I grown a manky beard?

*dies*

You are so inspired. *applauds*
