This is me being supportive

I see a lot of discontent and unhappiness brewing on my flist today, so you know, here's me being a voice of, like, happiness and shit. Be happy, goddamnit! You are alive and in posession of most of your faculties. Be grateful!

That is all.

Love to all,
Me

p.s. If you want, respond here and I will send you a song of my chosing that either makes me think of you, or that I think you will enjoy.

Ah ha, yes, this is *your* song. Now it makes sense. I didn't know why at the time I took it back from the person I'd originally given it too, but it just didn't feel right for her. Now I see it was because it was meant for you.

LOL. I love the song so much I put it on the Thousandth Man soundtrack, so yes, I like the song :D

Hee! That's perfect because one of my mother's lessons to me when I was a girl (and she did repeat herself more than once on the subject) was: Never trust a man who's too charming.

Kid ya not!

This song makes me bounce! Thank you ♥

That was my aim, because in my mind you are so energetic I was like what reminds me of Ash, and this was it. I adore this song, you can't be unhappy when you are listening to this. Wait. Do you already have it? I know you are crafty that way, I can send you something else if you do.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-01-31 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
Your mother is a smart woman! :)

Downside: Work sucked.
Upside: Have a job.

Downside: Almost choked to death at dinner.
Upside: Didn't.

So yes, I have faculties.

[identity profile] literaryll.livejournal.com 2006-01-31 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, it is impossible to not smile while listening to this song and yes I already have it :D

But that's okay. You don't have to send me another one. I'm soo tickled that it reminds you of me LOL

Radiohead 'The Mess We're In' (http://s53.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1TV9K6KNA2UVB0I6NFTJOX3O4R)

Because I have been listening to Radiohead for 10+ years and I'm still finding songs to love.

Wow. I'm a little stunned by how much I love this song. Clearly you are a genius of no minor order.

*deeply delighted*

We thank you for your support. *flashbacks of old Bartles & James commercials*

Actually, I like your way of cutting through the ----- and reminding us of what's important. That's cool.

This is so perfect; I'm grinning. I spent the summer of my fifteenth birthday with my dad's side of the family. Two weeks in Ireland, a week in Wales and then the final two weeks of my trip in Sussex. That was the summer that The Great Escape came out, and a battle was raging between Oasis and Blur. I was firmly on the side of Blur, and have been ever since. Oasis can be fun, but Blur always get me up and moving and smiling and singing along.

Your choice is frighteningly apropos: how do you do that, man?

I wish I could feel like my normal, cheerful self, but...

My life is terrible the moment, verily. The best I can say is that I am present and standing, if not tall, at least upright.

[identity profile] voleuse.livejournal.com 2006-01-31 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
Awesome. Thank you so much!

I have a killer day at work, but now I am off and that makes me happy.

If you haven't run out of music with 10,000,000 people commenting, I'd love to hear something.

If I'm not too late for music...?

[identity profile] kismeteve.livejournal.com 2006-01-31 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
hit me.
