After a three year hiatus I am so very proud to announce that Hackwick Productions is back in business. And by that I mean I was all, "OMG! Must make mixtape before my head explodes! Must have artses!" and [livejournal.com profile] slodwick was like, "Yes, I will humor you because I am that awesome." (Which she is)

So, to celebrate the great occasion that is Inception (and in particular Eames/Arthur) we present unto you:

Something That's Impossible to Ignore

A [livejournal.com profile] hackthis & [livejournal.com profile] slodwick Production.

The Who's That Girl Mix
The Who's That Girl Mix

I feel I should state up front that the entire purpose of this mix, beside to provide awesome music for your ears, is to introduce you to the awesome that is Daphne Willis. She's from Chi town. She plays the guitar. She's not glam or glitz or Auto-Tune (praise Rudy), but she is most definitely talented and I really like her stuff. And y'all know how picky I am. If you like what you hear, please consider buying her CD, What to Say.

And now, on to the mix...

1. Daphne Willis 'Bluff'
2. Robyn 'Fembot' <-- I love the hell out of Robyn. Y'all don't know.
3. Gwen Stefani 'Hollaback Girl'
4. P!nk 'So What?' <-- For every woman who got tired of supporting her man and realized how awesome she is.
5. Sinead O'Connor 'No Man's Woman' <-- For [livejournal.com profile] antheia
6. Daphne Willis 'Everybody Else'
7. No Doubt 'Ex-Girlfriend' <-- Yes, Gwen again.
8. Mary J. Blige 'Be Happy'
9. Alicia Keys f/ Stephen Colbert 'Empire State of Mind, Part II'
10. Avril Lavigne 'Girlfriend' <-- For all my Ray people out there
11. Cher 'Believe' <-- For all my people who were club kids in 1999. If you were still in the single digits in 99 please don't tell me.
12. Daphne Willis 'Love & Hate'
13. En Vogue 'My Love (Never Gonna Get It)' <-- Old. Skool. In. The. House.
14. Beyonce 'Irreplaceable' <-- I don't even like Bouncy (as I refer to her), but this song is like ear crack. To the left, to the left.
15. Florence & The Machine 'Oh Darling' <-- Beatles cover
16. Robyn 'Who's that Girl?'

Can be downloaded here

Apparently there is a theme here. I did not realize that when I was putting it together, but there you go.

Also, I just have to say I know a lot of y'all love Lady Gaga and think she, like, shits gold ingots, but that latest song 'Alejandro'? Uh, I liked it better when Madonna did it in the 80s and called it 'La Isla Bonita.' And please don't try and tell me that those two songs don't sound the same.

In other unpopular opinions, have you ever looked at somebody during sex and thought "Wow, your eyes are so dilated with lust?" Yeah, didn't think so.

Landon Donovan, Baby Daddy. Do tell.

Last thing, [livejournal.com profile] maurheti why are your boys so hot? Netherlands, how do you do it? Are we taking flutters on Brazil v Chile?

Halp?

*Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] alethialia and anonymous for my Ray-Ray shades! They are so shiny, it's hypnotic! The minute I saw them on the profile page I YEARNED for them. What? I can yearn, people, hush.

*I watched the Lost finale. But... I didn't get it. Which is what happens when you stop watching in S2.

*[livejournal.com profile] newkidfan made a gorgeous Cooper/Sherman Southland vid, you know, for those of us that are into that sort of thing :D Also, Michael Cudlitz and Regina King are trying to make me have RPF thoughts. Good thing I am strong (and Cudlitz is married). I'm just saying though, how awesome would they be together? Dood.

*Brad/Raylan continues to be the pairing of my loins heart. Y'all just don't know.

*Also, I need your help flist. I am looking for some songs. Okay, not some. Like a lot. I have been separated from my music collection by a continent; I need help getting tied up. Over. Tied Over.

Like 50 songs give or take. )

1. Dear Internets: [livejournal.com profile] sparky77! is the best.

2. Dear Internets: [livejournal.com profile] maurheti is the best.

3. Dear Internets: [livejournal.com profile] romanticalgirl is the best.

Enablers ho! Now let's get down to business.

*I created a thank you music mix for #2 and #3, which I now feel compelled to share, because the tunes are just that awesome. Special thanks to [livejournal.com profile] moneyfolder for her contributions.

* On last night's Daily Show, Jon interviewed Sebastian Junger (The Perfect Storm). Mr. Junger was shilling for his new book, WAR. This book was about the time he spent embedded with Army soldiers on the Iraq/Pakistan border. It was about the troops and how they hoped for battles to stop the boredom. It was about how you could hate somebody and still work beside them. It was the most freakish sense of deja vu ever. If they had started talking about being hired to work at Hustler while on Xanax, I'd've thought Evan Wright had had plastic surgery. Don't believe me? Watch for yourself.

I've been thinking about Ben McKenzie a lot recently. Okay, I've been thinking about Ben Sherman a lot lately. No, I've been thinking about them both. In fact, there was supposed to be a small ficlet here about Ben and Cooper, but then I realized I might need to save that for something else.

In conclusion, who's seen The Losers?

I have! And [livejournal.com profile] maurheti has. And [livejournal.com profile] sparky77 has. Three of us cannot make a fandom. Okay, that's not true. ONE CAN MAKE A FANDOM (Always remember that. Ari is proof of that). I assume this is how I have 100 500 words of The Losers/Leverage for [livejournal.com profile] sparky77.

Thank you to everyone who responded to my last post. Emoting gives me limp dick though, so I deleted it. You should still read what [livejournal.com profile] romanticalgirl said because L is awesome and wise and instead I will bring you two things:

a) Get 'er Done: A Music Mix featuring:
- Massive Attack 'Pray for Rain'
- Stereophonics 'Dakota'
- Machine Gun Fellatio 'Let Me Be Your Dirty Fucking Whore' <-- You don't even know.
- Fiona Apple 'Get Him Back' (From the original Jon Brion sessions)
- Florence + The Machine 'Addicted to Love' (cover)
- Kubb 'Bitch'
- New Order 'Krafty'
- Ok Go 'This Too Shall Pass (live)'
- Robyn 'Konichiwa Bitches'
- Wax 'Southern California'

b) I still stand by the fact that 1. Being on the internet is not an excuse to be a dick. If you wouldn't say it to somebody's face, hiding behind your keyboard is just shitty and 2. Have some goddamn manners. They're free. Sadly I can't make people behave, although Zeus knows I wish I could. 3) This is supposed to be *fun*. If you are not having fun, take a break and if you are spoiling somebody else's fun: fucking cut it out.

c) A Picture Spam of Things What Make Hackthis Happy, because damnit. I like being happy. Eye Candy Ho! )
I know a lot of people are suffering to no end because of the inclement weather and for that I am sorry. I know people are probably stranded with cabin fever, maybe even without power (in which case, um, damn, son). But as bad as that is the people of Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation have been without power or water or heat for nearly two weeks. No, that's no typo.

I know people have been emptying their pockets for [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti, which just goes to show the power of fandom, but if anybody's got a few dollars left that that they might want to throw this way for Emergency Assistance (or here via Piryx) to help these people or could even just pass the message on to people that might be able to help that would just be amazing.

It will never cease to baffle me as to why people feel the need to read and comment on stories they clearly don't like. Is your 'back' button broken? Do you really think your rudeness is so invaluable? Why would you say 'I didn't really like this story, I don't think you're a really good writer, but whatever, I read it.' Or better yet, "Everybody said this was good, but I just don't agree." I just... what?

Can someone tell me where manners went to die, becuse I'd like to put flowers on their grave?

In less irritating news, since I missed this when it was going on, I'm doing it today:

Today has been declared lurker amnesty day (by me!) Have you read me but never commented? Do you surf by occasionally? Here for the ficinsanity? Say hello! You are under no obligation to ever comment or delurk again, but here's a chance to do so in a post just for that.

Oh, and since this is my all-inclusive post, anybody have the new Sade, Corrine Bailey Rae or Massive Attack albums to share? SCORE! Thanks [livejournal.com profile] sugargroupie and [livejournal.com profile] jcase!
Good morning my little godless heathens,

I come to you in search of the soundtrack for (500) In Days of Summer, which I just *know* one of you is in possession of. And if you do not know of whence I speak, I say unto thee: WATCH THIS FUCKING MOVIE NOW. In exchange I can offer you, uh, last week's GK story or you can wait for the one that's supposed to come out this week. As I've not written that one yet you might be better off with the other though (just saying).

Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend.

X

ETA: Mission Accomplished!! (No, not you George Bush). I have the best flist evar! Thank you [livejournal.com profile] maiahaha and [livejournal.com profile] obeetaybee!!
I figure if anybody can help me you lot can. I am looking for some music. In particular the following albums and songs:

Bill Bayliss 'Better Man' (single)
Depeche Mode 'Corrupt' (single)
Jay-Z f/ Alicia Keys 'Empire State of Mind' (single)
The Frames 'Dance the Devil' (album)
Green Day '21st Century Breakdown' (album)
Melody Gardot 'Worrisome Heart' (album)
Melody Gardot 'My One and Only Thrill' (album)

Also, even if you don't have any of the above music, if you're in the market for something new everything above has The [livejournal.com profile] hackthis Stamp of Fuck, Yeah!. You know, as an FYI.
I am doing some spring cleaning (yes, in August) and I've come across a plethora of music that I want to share with you. I cannot vouch for the entire ouvre of anybody here (apart from Dead Man's Bones, which is Ryan Gosling's band, and OMG!). I digress. As I was saying, I can't vouch for any of the artists per se(apart from Gomez, who are awesome), but what I can tell you is that you will find at least one song on here you will love*. The diversity of choice: blues, rock, country, sultry, swing, dance, etc. will see to that. It's all about the lyrics, man.

So, if you'd come back later and tell me what you liked that'd be kind of awesome.

Unknown Variables
Unknown Variables

1. Dead Man's Bones 'The Room Where You Sleep' <-- Ryan Gosling has a band. It's AWESOME.
2. Gomez 'Natural Reaction'
3. Colin Hay 'No Time'
4. The Watson Twins 'Rebel Soldier'
5. Melody Gardot 'Our Love is Easy' <-- I am notoriously picky about my female singers, but I love her voice.
6. Lisa Shaw 'Like I Want To'
7. Tim Easton 'Burgundy Red'
8. Wild Beasts 'The Devil's Crayon' <-- I once listened to this six times straight.
9. Orie Lavie 'Ruby Rises'
10. Animal Collective 'My Girls' <-- A song not about being a pimp, but about trying to provide for your family.
11. The Boxer Rebellion 'Flashing Red Light Means Go'
12. Travis Graves 'How Can a Human Mind?' <--Travis used to be a pro skateboarder. This is clearly a better profession (ha!)
13. Ida Maria 'Keep Me Warm'
14. The Pretenders 'Almost Perfect' <-- Okay, I lied, everybody likes The Pretenders
15. Volumen Cero 'Chinese Connection'
16. The Silent Years 'On Our Way Home' <-- This just makes me feel happy.

1. GK fen, Don’t Lick Your Fingers When You Turn the Page by [livejournal.com profile] nightanddaze is a gorgeous, lyrical study of Brad and Nate (and a Sharpie) in and out of theater. Definitely recommended.

1a. ETA: I forgot to mention that I wrote some GK comment!fic over here for A. It's a long thread, but you know how I we are. Keep scrolling, it's worth it. And now there's even more! I really should look into get paid per comment.

1b. ETA #2: Robert Downey Jr. (or as I call him, the first Mrs. Ari Gold) is all about the circumstantial homosexuality. Shocking, people.

2. People who are into cartoons, might be interested to know that Cartoon Network's The Super Hero Squad Show (26x30), which is slated to debut on Cartoon Network in the US this September 2009 will feature the following voice overs: Shawn Ashmore as Iceman, LeVar Burton as Rhodey, Taye Diggs as the Black Panther, Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street) as Dormammu, Greg Grunberg as Ant-Man, Mark Hamill as the Red Skull, Lena Headey as the Black Widow, Tricia Helfer as Sif, Cheryl Hines as Stardust, Wayne Knight as Egghead, James Marsters as Mr. Fantastic, Jennifer Morrison as the Wasp, Adrian Pasdar as Hawkeye, Kevin Sorbo as Ka-Zar, George Takei as Galactus and Michelle Trachtenberg as the Galkyrie, and Stan Lee as the voice of the Mayor of Super Hero City. (Inorite!)

3. Don't you fucking hate it when there's a song you love and you can't find the blasted thing anywhere to buy? Yeah, I totally hate that. Listen to Bill Baylis 'Better Man' here anyway. (It sounds like somebody unearthed Richard Ashcroft and Seal doing a duet with the London Community Gospel Choir Yes, really).

And on the subject of music, apparently it's been quite some time since I provided you lot with new sounds for your ears. My bad! I like to call this mix: Things I Think You Should Be Listening To, So Listen Now, Dammit!* (Good for exercising, driving in the car, grocery shopping, breathing, doing the laundry and in general just chanting along while doing cult activities like creating art and writing porn).

Listen to This
Listen to This

1.Doves 'Jetstream' <-- From 'Kingdom of Rust', which is an album actually worth waiting three years for
2. Regina Spektor 'Eet'
3. Matt & Kim 'Daylight' <-- Yes, from that damn commercial, and exceedingly better than whatever it's selling.
4. The Knux 'Bang Bang'
5. Green Day 'Know Your Enemy'
6. Slow Club 'Christmas TV' <-- If this song doesn't steal your heart, you are soul-less I tell you. Even my wizened, black shriveled up heart unclenched at this one.
7. Public Enemy 'Fight the Power' <-- CLASSIC
8. Lily Allen 'Him'
9. Brandtson 'Earthquakes & Sharks' <-- An ode to all the things that'll kill you in Mexico and California. Killer bees, chupacabra and all.
10. Estelle 'American Boy'
11. Sam & Ruby 'Heaven's My Home' <-- The unofficial theme for 'Son is on a Midnight Run Like DeNiro'
12. Palenke Soultribe 'No Voy a Morir'
13. Stevie Wonder 'Higher Ground'
14. The New York Fund 'The Guns of Camden Town' <-- I've been listening to this song for six months and it never gets old

[insert copious babbling here about my love of arthur and merlin and how awesome it is to have not one but TWO female leads that I adore, one of whom is a woman of color -- can i get a WHAT! WHAT! from the back? -- and how morgana/gwen is totally my sekrit otp and morgana is tres hot, la di da, sparkly hearts all over arthur, because we all know how much i love those arrogant, misunderstood leads].

Before I go off on holiday, I would like to continue my celebration of the seriously epic and currently, non-tragic love of Merlin Emrys and Arthur "Hotass Prat" Pendragon. So, first there was yesterday's story (In Light of Recent Events or Why One Should Never Take the Piss With Royalty ) and today, we have music:

Them Other Boys Don't Know How to Act

A [livejournal.com profile] hackthis & [livejournal.com profile] refche Production.

Plz to be clicking here for teh music )
I have been trying to avoid doing this for three months, but finally I could take it no longer and had to succumb to the fact that the boys -- men -- of Generation Kill deserve a very special fanmix of their own. For the record, if it was in the series, it won't be on this mix. To me this mix is about the tone of the series and the mood of the men. At the end of the day it's reflective of their joint influence on me and what I hear when I look at what, to me, is hands down the best television of 2008. For whatever that's worth.

When the Bullet Comes 'Round

1. Recon Marines are required to be able to hold their breath for four minutes. Do you know how long that is? Try holding your breath for longer than 25 seconds.

2. I think I may love Entourage again. I've been wary, because last season sucked hardcore, but on Sunday night my Ari was back and I could only think 'Took fucking long enough, asshole!'

3. I couldn't decide whether I should write Brad/Nate porn or Michael/Ryan porn, so I decide to go with Option C and post music instead. I know you love my decision making processes. I have been culling my libraries recently, because quality over quantity is important to me. So, from 143 potential possibilities, here are ten (thirteen) songs that I have gathered up from the Try Some New Shit Bin (as it were), that I insist you all must have. Enjoy!

Ten (Thirteen) Songs to Grow On
Ten (Thirteen) Songs to Grow On

1. Dead Heart Bloom 'Who Will You Love' <-- I have played this every day for a week.
2. Rosie Thomas 'Much Farther to Go'
3. Spiritualized 'Soul on Fire' <-- Jason used to be in love with Richard's wife, Kate, before she was Richard's wife and when she played in Jason's band, and if you followed that seamlessly, I might've gotten drunk with you at V98
4. Silversun Pick-Ups 'Lazy Eye' (Jason Bentley Remix)
5. Laura Marling 'Night Terror'
6. Mexican Institute of Sound 'Escribime Pronto' < -- Loosely translated it means, "Write me right now and tell me how crazy this song is. I'm being patient. Really."
7. The Airborne Toxic Event 'Sometime Around Midnight' <-- I played this five times this morning.
8. Plastilina Mosh 'My Party' <-- Dance song du jour.
9. The Wood Brothers 'Walk Away'
10. Peder 'The Sour' <-- This song is laid back like Sunday mornings reading the paper, drinking tea and trying to remember how many people you kissed last night.
11. Johnnie Newman 'Birds of Paradise'
12. Pistolera 'Nuevos Ojos'
13. Matt Costa 'Never Looking Back' <-- Yes, I've posted this twice. It's that good. Have it again.

I am a doer. I like doing shit. Running, hiking, yoga, swimming, sky-diving, pilates, hanging upside from the ceiling... You could probably lock me in a gym and as long as there were protein bars and water I'd be fine.

If I had my way (read way more $$) I'd probably spend my time doing volunteer work and working out (and traveling, natch). I know you've heard of weird people like me, the people who always have to be doing something, who feel better after a run than they do after a beer (but it's close) and always have to have music while we do it. So, this playlist is for us, the movers, the twitchers, the people who were brainwashed by Nike and think 'Just Do It' is the 11th Commandment.

Get Up Off Your Ass

1. The Roots f/ Saigon & Truck North 'Criminal' <-- Entourage people, yes, this is that Saigon.
2. Lily Allen 'Knock'em Out'
3. Dans Le Sac vs Scrobious Pip 'Thou Shalt Always Kill' <-- A song about the perils of believing anything. Ever.
4. Harvey Danger 'Flagpole Sitta'
5. Kaiser Chiefs 'Everyday I Love you Less and Less' <-- For every ex that made you go WTF?
6. Razorlight 'In the Morning' <-- A strangely good song for doing stadium stairs.
7. Madonna 'Ray of Light' <-- If you tell me you don't groove to Madonna, you are LYING
8. Jay –Z '30-something'
9. Pulp 'Disco 2000' - <-- Bless you Life on Mars
10. Teddybears f/ Mad Cobra 'Cobrastyle' <--Appeared in an advert for Chuck and was covered by Robyn; I prefer the original
11. Dandy Warhols 'All the Money or the Simple Life'
12. Ingrid Michalson 'Be OK'
13. The Verve 'Love is Noise' <-- If anyone had told me five years ago there'd be a new Verve anything ever again I'd've laughed myself all the way to the pub.
14. Wheatus 'Teenage Dirtbag' <-- for all my Generation Kill people.
15. The Doors 'Peace Frog'
16. Missy Elliott 'Gossip Folks'
17. Dil Se 'Chaiyya Chaiyya'
18. Ben Folds 'Army' <-- In keeping with that military theme
19. The Chemical Brothers 'The Sunshine Underground'

Does anybody have the Cast Soundtrack for Wicked the Musical? I am also in the market for any Akron and the Family you might have (I only have a few singles: I'll be on the Water, Ed is a Portal and Afford).

Also, the new Verve album (now there are a couple of words I never thought I'd be able to type), Fourth is coming out on 26th August. If anybody might be able to help a sister out, well, I would be most appreciative.

Yes, I know, still no porn. Well, I've not written porn at ALL this year, so I have to work up to it. We'll get there. You'll like the trip.

I also have two fic recs:

Psych, Gus/Shawn, Interventions and Other Ploys by [livejournal.com profile] manicjoy, because there is never enough Shawn/Gus in the world, let along quality Shawn/Gus, and this has perfect delivery of what makes them an OTP.

Generation Kill, Fick/Colbert, POV by Beecher, err, Wright. Cats & Dogs by [livejournal.com profile] suaine, because I like Generation Kill, like a LOT, and Nate and Brad deserve to be happy in some time line somewhere.
Having a rough patch? Feeling like you want to choke a bitch? Or just so goddamn happy that you could bottle it and sell it on the black market? Whatever your state at the moment, I've got some music for you, because no matter how crap things are, it's always a good day to be alive...

The Happy to Be Alive Mix
The Happy to Be Alive Mix

1. Silversun Pickups 'Lazy Eye'

5. Robyn 'Konichiwa Bitches'
6. Joe Purdy 'Blue in the Sky'
7. Apollo Sunshine 'Today is the Day'

19. Lupe Fiasco f/ Matthew Santos 'Superstar'

Can be downloaded here. Enjoy!
Yesterday, while scrounging for music, I told you about a mix that I'd meant to make, well, today I got inspired.

Based on some comments I've gotten recently about artists I pimp that aren't commercially recognized (because the radio is evil) I present to you lot the Who the Fuck Are You? Mix. This isn't necessarily a mix of people you've never heard of, but of people who I think should be loved more.

Who The Fuck Are You? Mix

1. Matt Costa 'Never Looking Back'
2. Meredith Bragg 'My Absent Will' <-- A man, not a woman.
3. Pacifika 'Me Cai' <-- Peruvian music, which is not unlike sex
4. Gnarls Barkley 'Going On' <-- My favorite song from The Odd Couple
5. The Filthy Youth 'City Stop' <-- Yes, that's Chuck from Gossip Girl's band. He's English. Pimping is mandatory
6. DeVotchKa 'Transliterator'
7. Andrew Bird 'Heretics' <-- My favorite song over five albums
8. She and Him 'Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?'
9. Frightened Rabbit 'Head Rolls Off' <-- They are Scottish and scruffy. How can you say no?
10. Greg Laswell 'How the Day Sounds' <-- Is absolutely fabulous live. Also used to date Mandy Moore.
11. Jenny Owens Young 'Fuck Was I' <-- What woman has not asked herself this question?
12. Mae 'Ocean' <-- Don't let the name fool you. These are boys.
13. Zack Hexum 'Met a Girl Like You Once' <-- Zack is the little brother on Nick from 311.
14. Why? 'The Hollows <-- I hadn't planned on putting them here, but they sing about seing two guys making out on the basketball court. I was obligated.
15. Elbow 'Audience With the Pope' <-- A song about prioritization
16. DJ Shadow 'Six Days'

Musak day!

Feb. 13th, 2008 11:39 am
Okay, people, I am looking for the following songs and albums:

Sway 'This is My Demo' (LP)
Adele '19'
Orson 'Culture Vulture' (LP)
Beyonce 'Irreplaceable'
Page France 'Chariot'
Beirut 'Scenic World'

Also, I need to talk with you. I know you people. I know how crafty you are. The new Guillemots album Red will be out in March as will the new Elbow LP The Seldom Seen Kid. The new Gnarls Barkley album The Odd Couple will be out in April. I'm not saying to do anything 'bad', but if you happen to stumble upon anything related to any of the above, well, I would love you a lot. A WHOLE LOT.

In return what do I offer you? Well, I put up a four-song zip yesterday and the latest Frankenmix is out, so how about we do that?

The Wish For Something Better Mix )
1. It seems that not everyone knows this, so I'm just going to remind you lot that the last two new episodes of Chuck are airing tonight on NBC at 8pm and 10pm. They're calling it the Chuck sandwich, because it's the two parter where Bryce kidnaps Chuck and they marry in Vermont! What? That's not what happens? Oh, boo.

2. Paul Newman was made of hotass when he was younger. If you didn't know that you are missing out. Cool Hand Luke. The Hustler. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof has closeted-football-player Newman. If you've never seen any of these, sweet Jesus, you are missing out. Don't even get me started on Paul and his hetero-life partner, Robert Redford. See The Sting. Just saying.

3. Make Me a Supermodel is also on tonight. Just saying.

4. Is everybody else really enjoying Psych this season or what? Did you know that Shawn and Juliet are dating in RL? How cute is that?!

5. I feel some political, sociological, hippie revolution music coming on. Something about government dissatisfaction and general dissatisfaction and taking a stand for what's right. This election is driving me mental, but Stephen Colbert is made of win.

What's that Sound 2008

- Buffalo Springfield 'For What it's Worth'
- U2 'If God will Send his Angels
- Talib Kweli 'Get By'
- Dixie Chicks 'Travelling Soldier'
- Bill Withers 'Lean on Me'
- Tina Turner 'Proud Mary'
- The Frames 'People Get Ready'
- Ryan Adams 'Political Scientist'
- Thom Yorke 'Harrowdown Hill'
- Lupe Fiasco 'American Terrorist'
- The Kaiser Chiefs 'Angry Mob'
- Bob Marley 'Get Up Stand Up'
- The Roots 'False Media'
- Dan Bern 'Cure for AIDS'
- The Doors 'Peace Frog'
- Jeff Buckley 'The Sky is a Landfill'
- Gil Scott Heron 'The Revolution Will Not Be Televised'
- Herbert 'Something isn't Right'
- M.Ward 'Post War' (live)
- Bruce Hornsby 'That's the Way it Is'
