I had a Grey's Anatomy epiphany over my coffee this morning. I don't actually tend to drink coffee though, which should prolly tell you all you need to know.

It just occured to me that the way people most feel about Meredith from Grey's Anatomy (i.e. aggravated, annoyed, ready to choke a bitch) is the way I feel about Izzie from the same show. I don't hate her per se, I just don't like her. At all. Except for rarely -- whenever that rare occasion occurs.

Everybody needs to just to bow down before Bailey, really -- but that's kind of a given.


Now on to important things: I wrote SGA, BSG (twice!) and HP/O11 last week. What do I focus on now? Got some pretty pictures to bribe me with? Music? Crack? I'm always good for crack. Speaking of crack also, I can't imagine that there's anybody reading this who hasn't already found their way to seperis's SGA-does-Oz WIP, Crimes Against Humanity, but if you're not, WHY NOT? Guns! Assassins! Blowing shit up! Prison riots! *sighs happily*

That's interesting, because hey, there was a reply there. I dunno where it went. More importantly I don't remember quite what I said, but I feel fairly certain that it was a rousing WORD in regards to Buffy -- who I should point out I did like until season three when Faith came along and Buffy tried to go all holier-than-thou. Yeah, I never forgave her for that one.

Izzie annoys me on an intrinsic, I-am-right-and-everyone-should-listen-to-me-while-I-tell-them-how-to-live-their-lives-even-though-I-can't-run-my- own type way.

I guess my thing with Izzie is that, yeah, she's kind of lacking in the whole being able to run her own life and being a little bit of a meddler, but I've had friends who secretly knit me sweaters. I've been the secret knit sweater friend.

And, wow, that metaphor was horrible. Alas.

Oh, I know, the s3 Buff was about when I started watching regularly versus dabbling, so it was really hard for me to rewatch and like her in 1 and 2 when 1 had bitchy Cordy and 2 had Dru and Spike.

She is Burke only in that everyone is really impressed with her skills. And she is too. Personally, I see her more as McSteamy. Ethically unsound, but killing people with the hotness everywhere she goes. It's disgusting -- but you know, who is going to kick McSteamy out of their bed?

Why is there no McSteamy/McDreamy either? I am so requesting that for next yuletide
