For the honor of Greyskull

1. It's only taken nine months, but Dysfunctional has been updated by the grace of [livejournal.com profile] obsessedmuch. What? I didn't write a lot this year, everything was just really long. Speaking of long...

2. Yesterday I posed 12,000 words of Entourage fic entitled As We Are, Or How Lloyd Saves the Day (Again). Yes it has Ari. And Eric. And Vince. And Turtlendrama. Oh, and Lloyd.

3. I also covered President Clooney's press conference yesterday afternoon. I love our President. He's totally groovy and hot. And the First Man ain't bad either. Isn't it nice how the entire US has gotten more interested in politics since he was elected?

4. I need musak. Please.

Jools Holland 'As the Sun Sets Over London'
Travis 'Twenty'
The Wonder Woman theme
U2 'Fast Cars' (my copy's gone runabout)
Travis 'Last Train'
Oasis 'The Importance of Being Idle'
Franz Ferdinand 'Take Me Out'
Madonna 'Open Your Heart'
Jack Johnson 'Brushfire Fairytales'

Anything else you think I should own.

5. Does anybody really miss She-Ra?! When the hell is Voltron coming out on DVD already?

Wow, I don't know why this is the only one on your list that I DO have, but - The Wonder Woman Theme (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=4830E3E44EEC719A). And just for fun, one that I've had on repeat foreverrr, Disgrace (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=5F0375C715988615) by Essie Jain.

Two versions of the same song from ranz Ferdinand: Take Me Out [live on Joolz Holland] and Take Me Out [album version].

Haven't read your Entourage story yet as I've only seen two eps and am saving it until I have more of an idea of who's who. :)

What I have of Brushfire Fairytales is here (http://www.sendspace.com/file/sapx29), zippedy-doo-dah-dayed.

Also, THIS. (http://magnoliafires.livejournal.com/136538.html)

I rather thought I had Franz Ferdinand's Take me out, turns out I only have the Scissor Sisters' live on BBC version (http://www.sendspace.com/file/ahzodg), if that's any help.

I also think that you should own Jehro - Long is the way (http://www.sendspace.com/file/lslxa9), because 1) he sounds a bit like Jack Johnson and 2) it's a pretty song.

Have none of those songs, instead I offer two covers and a song about the past.

I don't miss She-Ra, I bought the DVD. *g* 'Cos I really AM that girl, le great heaving sigh. (And I always wanted to be Castaspella, man.)

As to music, I posted something. Uh huh...

I too miss She-Ra. My brother and I went and saw the He-Man/She-Ra movie 5 times in the theaters. I loved her flying horse, Swift-wind.

The Importance of Being Idle (http://download.yousendit.com/69018A9C1CA14D45)

Also, an acoustic version of Take Me Out (http://download.yousendit.com/AF20E55A52BFB666).

Oddly, I don't have that Travis song. Hmmm.

Voltron is supposed to be coming out in another couple of weeks.

Of course they're delaying the DVDs of the original Japanese version until next year. :(

5. I was so excited when I heard She-Ra was coming out on DVD, and then I saw that it was only the 'best episodes'. Man, am I ever mad about that! I WANT THE WHOLE SERIES.

"Her name is Yoshimi - she's a black belt in karate
Working for the city - she has to discipline her body -
Cause she knows that it's demanding to defeat these
Evil machines - I know she can beat them -

Oh Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots defeat me
Oh Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots eat me

Those evil natured robots - they're programmed to
Destroy us - She's gotta be strong to fight them -
So she's taking lots of vitamins - cause she knows that
It'd be tragic if those evil robots win - I know
She can beat them -"

In case you didn't already get it: Sam Cooke 'A Change is Gonna Come'.

Which, I'm almost entirely sure I got from one of your wonderful music downloads in the first place. *g*

According to Amazon, Voltron volume one will be out on September 26, and volume two will be available on November 21, which makes a happy girl.

Just in case this is still of interest, Voltron vol. 1 was actually released on Tuesday (9-12) here in the States. I know that Best Buy has it online and in store.
