Today is not a good day. I must make it so.

First, by taking glee in this Grey's Anatomy casting spoiler.

And second, as created by devkel, the first 20 (sorry that was supposed to be 20, not 2) people to comment with a pairing or character and a prompt will get a one line story*. Since we all know of my inability to write anything less than ten words, it should at least be good for crack value.

Jealousy defies reason, and Lee knows this because he's the jealous type. He tells himself he's not, but he knows it's a lie. He knows some things just can't be controlled.

When Lee was eight he was jealous of Zak for getting a new sim for his birthday, even though Lee had gotten one for his birthday six months earlier. Zak's was newer, shinier, better. Lee wanted it.

When Lee was twenty it was Kara. Lee had a girlfriend, but she wasn't Kara. Kara was faster, harder, shinier, better. Lee wanted her.

When Lee was twenty-eight it was Helo. Helo was in love with a goddamn temptress toaster that had stabbed Lee's dad, but Lee still wanted him, too.

Some things just defy reason.
