Everybody else is doing it, why can't we?

What kind of day is today? Today is the day that I locked my purse in my desk, with the key to the desk inside. Impressive, no?

As seen on, oh, everybody else's LJ:

If you had me under your command and could make me write anything, regardless of whether or not I know the fandom or if anybody even writes fic in that fandom and no matter how crack-addled it might be, what would you love to see me write?

Naturally, no writing contract is binding until it's signed in blood and payment of naked Adrian Pasdars or blindingly awesome cover art has been received in full.

If the world were truly a beautiful and just place, you would write Highway's Jack/Pilot, and when that ran its natural course, adorkable stoner Pilot would make his way to NYC and hook up with slackerish Peter Petrelli. And then there would be Milo Ventimiglia/Jake Gyllenhaal RPS.

And not that it's relevant, I friended you because [livejournal.com profile] skripka made me read one of your Heroes fics, and I remembered then that you are made of awesome and snark and are the reason I believe RPS isn't inherently evil but in fact a basic right.

*cocks head to the side*

Have you ever read The Incredibly True Adventures of Four Stars, Two Actors In Love, and One Gay Landmark (http://hackthis.livejournal.com/tag/rps:+the+incredibly+true+adventures), because all your talk about Jake Gyllenhall and presumably Jared Leto, well, that might be right up your alley.

I believe RPS isn't inherently evil but in fact a basic right.

Well, obviously. Also? Hi!

The Incredibly True Adventures... were actually the first RPS fics I ever read, a little over a year ago. The way you wove the story around tidbits of gossip, photos, and blended fictional and real personalities left an impression. I went away and could remember the story, but kept forgetting your user name, so each time someone recced something of yours, I've been smacked by the realization that you write brilliantly and an urge to offer myself up as your minion. It finally clicked that I could just use that lovely little friending feature and stop missing great writing. /fangirling

You are very sweet, thank you.
