This is not the writer you are looking for.

There have been some covert rumblings among me and mine about what my RPS project for the summer will be. Last summer it was the Incredibly True Adventures... The year before it was Star Wars RPS. Before that... you get the point. So, I said to myself (actually to [livejournal.com profile] antheia and [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma and [livejournal.com profile] sparky77), 'Self, who is the most deserving of them all? Who do I have no morals for or about? Who is The Man above all men, who is political and smart and savvy and has really really nice clothing and didn't want to show his ass the other day?

GEORGE CLOONEY

I think we are all well aware of my love-love relationship with George. We won't even need to start talking about Ari-n-George, because, well, really. But I think this summer shall be something special. Something about George. And Bradley. And Matthew. That's right, kids. It's OT3 time.

Or as I just e-mailed [livejournal.com profile] antheia and [livejournal.com profile] ethrosdemon:

The best thing about this story that I am never going to write (TM), which will prolly be some random series like K's Color of Wheat or The Incredibly True Adventures is that I can clearly write off reading about Matt's new project as research. George is so proud of Matt for taking a nice political project that there was some really awesome sex that night. Unlike Brad, who's is ON NOTICE for his shenanigans. Knocking up Mother Jolie and whatnot. Shameful behaviour!

So, you know, you got links? You got gossip? You got some random George/Brad/Matt factoid that you just *know* will make this RPS crack the crackiest crack that ever did crack? Post it here. Link me up. This is Ground Zero.

[sidebar: Does anybody have any Teddy Thompson to share with the class?]

P.S. Save the Boom Boom Room George and Brad!

P.P.S. If you notice the amount of links here growing exponentially it's for research purposes, yo.

I was looking for an entirely different link for you and I found George talking about cooking turkies. Make of that what you will: http://youtube.com/watch?v=iQ2oAzE4dlw

Also, yay! yay! yay! to OT3 RPS!

I loved O13. I see you are having mixed feelings, but I just see it as 'What O12 should have been' as the guys are now referring to it.

My mixed feelings are confusing me because I think my complaint is that there was no real conflict at all between Danny and Rusty and I hate needless angst, so it makes no sense for that to bother me. I think maybe I thought it was too perfect? On one level, I love the fact that they both blew off their supposed significant others with absolutely no concern and no worries that they would eventually be taken back, but I guess I want to know more about how it all works. I wanted to see them bickering more. And also, in Ocean's 11 and in 12 too, both Danny and Rusty had actual flaws. Danny was probably too arrogant and Rusty, I don't know, maybe too slothful, but in this movie, their flaws were kind of played down, like they've grown up. And even as I'm writing this I'm getting happy images of Danny and Rusty on a road trip, having one of those kind of serene old marred couple conversations where they finish each other's sentences and are really just talking to hear each other talk and I'm totally smiling at the image, so I think, in conclusion, just ignore me. I am just naturally suspicious of perfection and will use the fundamental hotness of Georoge to help me get over it.

Or you can just read the EW article (http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20035285_20035331_20041613,00.html). That'll give you a nice post-coital glow.

How did I manange not to read that? What was I talking about before? I don't remember. I'm too busy writing George + Brad in sparkly hearts over every available surface I can find.
