1. Burn Notice returns July 10th. Just 72 more days. Yes, I am that desperate for something I enjoy. Not that I don't enjoy Gossip Girl. And not that I'm not totally thinking about writing Nate and Vanessa, because dude, they are adorable and total cliche, but again, so CUTE. Also, how does Chuck manage to look good in the crap they put him in. He was wearing a green striped shirt over a checked shirt over a PINK tee shirt, and he still looked hot. Damn.

2. There is apparently this show called Being Human that I need to see, because it has Rudge from The History Boys. Oh, wise flist... how do I make this happen? ETA: After many, MANY false starts I have achieved Being Human. I've watched five minutes and am already besotted like a matron who refuses to accept that John Barrowman is gay.

3. SK has decided that I need to see some German soap with slash. I know not the name, but I know the intended targets are Christian and Oliver. I like Oliver. It's a good name. Oliver Wood. Oliver Twist. Yes.

4. I would marry Mike Rowe.

5. Being sick is bullshit. Being sick and my Greek DVDs not arriving is past bullshit and straight into cruelty.

It has all of Greek and Skins and almost every other show i could think of, also it has movies. the best part is that it's all completely free. So I hope you enjoy :)

1. I can't believe that you're falling for yet another het couple in Gossip Girl! I thought that the Nate and Vanessa storyline was a little too rushed, but they're so cute together that I don't care. Finally, somehting for the actors to do that doesn't involve being on the sidelines of Blair and Dan's storylines!

At least you discovered Being Human now that it's FINALLY been greenlit. Some of us watched it back in the depths of winter and then had to wait and beg and pray to the gods of BBC3. It's confirmed for 2009 (spring I think) BUT there's no news yet to confirm that the actors will be the same as in the pilot.

I agree that the storyline totally came from left field, someone else pointed out that if they'd had more episodes it probably would've flowed better, but they were just so damn cute. And they both had personalities for a change! Even though you totally can't just walk into the SAT Nate, but still!

I don't know. It's weird, because their other summer shows--Psych, The Dead Zone, even the fucking 4400--are all pretty well-followed shows, so you'd think they'd promote the hell out of to try and capture that audience.

I know it got a little stuck in pre-production with the WGA strike, so maybe that had something to do with it? Either way, cannot wait for the end to that goddamn cliffhanger, and for hot hot hot ms. gabrielle anwar back on my screen.

And yet, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, because they have these awesome summer shows, but you notice how they never rerun them either, except when they're airing. What sort of policy is that?

A stupid one! Burn Notice is perfect for a marathon, too, because they're episodes you can easily watch individually, but when put all together they just achieve a height of storytelling that I don't expect from summer shows. And if you pair it with Psych, in particular, I think it gets that thread of humor that is so present in both of them (in different ways) as well as the aesthetic.

If *I* were running USA programming....
