I can see how you could stall on watching it. I was telling lazlet, I find it very compelling to watch, but I'm not sure I like it. I mean Gene Hunt is pretty much amazing. He's a scary scary bad ass man, which shouldn't be hot, but is. Also, don't worry about burning me episodes I'm all sorted out.

Gene is just pure awesomeness and I didn't believe my friend when she told me this, but starting a couple episode in, I was kind of finding him hot. And he's clearly in love with Sam because if I were hanging out with Sam, I'd have far less patience with him then Gene. Both Gene and Annie are saints for dealing with him as well as they do.

I know EXACTLY what you mean, b/c I've seen Philip Glenister in a whole lot of stuff and not until now have I ever found him even moderately attractive. Also, I'd've smacked Sam, 6 ways from Sunday... much like Gene does in the beginning. I love Annie. She's a real girl! And looks like one! And is adorable. I totally want lunch now. Why do I have to wait another hour? AHHHHHHHHH, CRAMPS!

Gene starts getting all nice and protective of Sam (admittedly in a very Gene like way) and I just hope Sam puts out because he's really not worth all the aggravation otherwise.
