I believe that was 1x04. In Warren's club. They do the "backs together so it looks like we're dancing with girls but we're really dancing with each other" thing. :D

They are so obvious, it's fabulous. Also, I was watching State of Play recently, which I'd not watched since it came out in '03 and I'd forgotten it had John Simm and Philip Glenister (their first time as a team!) together. I kind of spazzed out. Massively. And now that I think about it it makes me think of that story you recommended, since that's obviously Sam and Gene in the 21st Century.
